Just the other night, I scrolled allllll the way back to one of my posts on here from December 19th, 2021.
It showcases a photo of the moon.
Part of something I wrote in the post said,
“Dark and hidden things can be chaotic, but they also can be beautiful. It takes a deep soul to recognize that not everything and everyone is always “love and light”.”
Similarly, a few more posts forward – a post entitled “Flow” with a waterfall photo.
“The problem is this – no one really knows if there is only free will, or only fate, or a mixture of both. Energy is constant, even if it is stagnant energy, and you can’t control other people, only your own reactions. However, in this world of mostly vapid and superficial connections, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find like-minded people.”
And finally, on a post entitled “Morning.”
“There is something about connecting with nature which calms the spirit and allows the mind to be free. Devoid of all pressure. The silence is so profound, yet every noise can be heard at the same time. Where the life-force and the stillness can all be felt at once.”
It’s been three years.
I’ve been yammering on about this…for three years.
The same stuff, over and over.
Just expanded into something a tad different.
Topics I always talk about:
- The debate between fate and free will.
- Being your authentic self.
- Listening to your soul and intuition.
- Nature and the silence.
- The feeling of freedom.
- How dreams can give us messages and insight into our waking lives.
I’m not sure if I’m happy I’m so consistent….
Or mad that it’s been this same way for 3 years.
There’s expansion, yes. There’s growth.
However.
I often warn other people about the cycles of karmic payout, going around in circles, caught up in their own bullshit, over and over again.
Sometimes, though, I have to wonder…if I’m caught up in my own.
It’s just a musing of the dark part of my soul, don’t worry. 😉
We’ll be back on track, soon enough.
Thank you, as always, for reading the chaos of my mind. You are appreciated. 🙏

I get what you are saying, but consistency is not always a bad thing. And one can grow within the same sphere if they approach it the right way.

I do think consistency within certain aspects is important. I was told not long ago, “if it never leaves your mind, even when you try, then it is a calling.” So somehow, someway, it must be important.

That is an interesting thought. Even if the how or why are not apparent it must mean something. 🤔

Let’s hope so, anyways! Lol 😆

Well, everything means something I’d wager. It’s the degree it matters that might vary.

Isn’t it fascinating how our own words and musings from the past can still resonate with us in the present? It’s like a conversation with our former selves, isn’t it? Thanks for sharing these reflections—it’s like taking a stroll down memory lane with a side of philosophical pondering!

Absolutely, Mrs. Claire. Thank you so much for your supportive and insightful comment! 😊 Always appreciated 🙏

An honest and introspective post. I think we are all caught up in our own bullshit Laura, it is part of the human condition maybe, realising that, you could say is growth? ‘Be like the children’ a wise man once said – children have an innate ability to call us ‘adults’ out on our nonsense🤔. Wonderful post😊…best, Jay

Thank you, Jay! I snorted and laughed at your response. I’ve definitely allowed myself to embrace a bit of child-like ness (is that a thing?) as I’ve gotten older, and it does help my spirit. I think for this part, it’s just a life review, I’m not unhappy by any means – but there’s a cycle in my life I’m trying to break right now, so I think that’s why I mention what I do. Your perspective is always appreciated! 😊 🙏

No worries Laura, I hope that was an enjoyable snort and laugh😊! Yes I would agree child-likeness is a thing (in fact it is even in the dictionary ‘childlikeness’), more a mindset I suppose, to embrace. We are a collection of habits aren’t we…but much more beyond that of course. I respect your honesty Laura, and you are always welcome. Jay😊

Enjoyable, yes! 😊 and yes, that definitely is some of the qualities I’m trying to embody more of lately, carefree and able to look at things with a different perspective from the past. 🙏

Well… From my point of view, chaos and harmony are two sides of the same coin. And they’re beautiful, indeed. Now when I think of it, maybe we see chaos there where we still can’t see the meaning of things unraveling. Where we don’t yet understand what’s happening. If we would understand, maybe we wouldn’t perceive it as chaos. Now, you gave me an idea, maybe I could scroll back to your earlier posts to see what gems are there to be found under the layers of time. 😊

Thank you 😊 🙏 there is beauty in chaos, yes. It’s just a matter of not allowing the chaos to overtake us, at times.
And lol, please…maybe don’t? 😅 haha, I often look at my past writing and cringe, just a tad haha 😆

Now I’m gonna read your posts on purpose! 😄 I know the feeling, but it’s good you feel that way, it means you’ve grown since the time you wrote the posts. Regarding chaos… maybe we should surrender to it? Let it flow and observe it? Or rise above it? Don’t know, guess I’ll know some day.

Surrender to the chaos? Perhaps, in time, we won’t have a choice but to do so! Lol 😆

I was aiming for that. But not to get entangled in chaos, but to observe and remain calm.

Perfect! We all need that at times 😊

If the topic is captivating, and you have new ideas and revelations while delving into it again and again—in other words, if you continue to grow—there is nothing wrong with coming back to them in your thoughts and writing 🙂
Besides, you write in such an engaging fashion that we’ll read it even if you are repeating certain patterns and ideas 🙂

I know we spoke on this more in length and I always so appreciate your sweet words 🙏 ❤️ it does bother me at times that I seem to ponder the same things over and over – but there must be a reason for it, after all. 😊

I lean toward considering Van Gogh, Monet and other artists, who revisited the same themes and environments over and over again, each time teasing out subtle distinctions. There are things you’ve pondered and been drawn to for many years, so can speak to in ways not available to others. That’s something valuable to offer.
At the same time, it also seems very healthy to question ourselves from time to time, experimenting with different themes and expressions. I think that’s why I try the prompts even when I don’t especially like most of them. I’m looking for that “Here’s something you would never write about!” nudge.

Haha 😅 I feel like this is a bit of, hey ummm you haven’t answered the prompt in a few days! Lmao 🤣 or perhaps not, but I feel you there, because it often can turn into something great or interesting if you let it. I may go back and answer some, but I often feel like people are over it on the days when it’s passed.
Very awesome correlation there, also, about going back to revisit certain aspects, there is a reason for it, for sure. Eventually that will come out, probably in a day or two, why the life review is happening lol 😆

Hah, oh my goodness, didn’t even see it could be read that way! Re the prompts, I think I’m trying to keep myself hanging in there, see the reasons why we’ve all been persevering, but I’ve also been sort of thinking of when the most auspicious day to end doing them might be, accepting that something may make sense for just a time. 🙂
I also just like the things you’re drawn to and find them enjoyable to read about *in the way that you write about them”.

Haha, yesss well I figure you probably didn’t, but it made me think of it lol 😆 I feel you on the hanging in, I just answer if something comes to me and flows, if not, I guess I just write what I want! The streaks don’t help, I’m back up to 30 days, haha!
And thank you, always appreciated 🙏 😊

I long for consistency and hoping the spiraling is on an upward trend (lol). I love your thoughts and unique perspectives about very hard to define topics that revolve our fates! Beautiful post, picture, and sentiments ❤ ~ 🙂

You’re introspective, which is good, Laura. But themes you’re drawn to may just be who you are. I’ve had many of the same interests my whole life.
