In solitude – look within, find yourself.
Written for Shweta’s Six Word Story Prompt (6WSP), “Solitude.”
Solitude can say so much with so little. I’ve often written about peace and tranquility found in stillness and solitude, and as I’m back to work tonight, this easy Sunday post reminds me to be grateful for those moments of solitude – rest, reflection, introspection, and finding oneself.
When we quiet the noise around us, and listen to our inner – what is it really saying?

I feel sometime it’s okay not to do anything and just sit in solitude because it gives our mind a open horizon to think and take action on things surrounding us.

Just continue to write and interact and connect with others. That’s really the only way to do it. I’ve had my blog since 2021 and didn’t really start writing until about November of 2023, and then it gradually picked up from there. The best thing you can do is be consistent. Good luck. 😊

Solitude is important. Like you imply in your wix word sentence, it opens to self reflection and collecting your feelings and thoughts. It is a beautiful and peaceful photo.

It’s amazing how many people can’t stand solitude, they find no peace in it at all. I can’t get my head around that at all!

It’s funny because my medium says to me often, “you actually like to be alone with your thoughts” and I’m like 😆 yes, yes I do. I can get how the silence is a tad too loud for others though I suppose, even though I’ll never feel the same. 😂
