Author of the Month Interview (and some moon shots!)

Sooo, this post is somewhat delayed. πŸ˜†

Moving like molasses here!

Some of you have already seen it and commented, which I am super grateful for – but incase anyone has interest, my Author of the Month interview has been live since March 18th.

Yayyy! So exciting! 😁

That little pesky thing called work and life got in the way a bit, which prevented me from posting it on the date it aired.

From the interview:

  1. What do you find most fulfilling about the act of writing?

If I’ve touched someone in a positive way, it means everything to me. If I’ve made them laugh, brought them some sort of enjoyment, or made them think differently, even for a moment – that is a huge compliment for me. Commentary and engagement is so important for me. If I know you’ve enjoyed my writing, it encourages me to continue on with it.

  1. How does the use of imagery contribute to conveying your story?

I’m a very visual person. I have a lot of vivid dreams, and photography is a passion of mine. I also enjoy using AI images to tell a story. I think visuals are very important to drive a point home, and can really make an impact when trying to convey a specific message.

Of course, if you take the time to read the interview, I am truly humbled. It was a great honor for me (and still is!) to have been nominated as Author of the Month, and I can’t be more thankful.

It can’t be said enough πŸ™ (don’t mind the funky hands!) πŸ™Œ

Also, I was so happy to receive this notification this morning:

What a nice surprise! Thank you! πŸ™

And just because I don’t feel like making a separate post for it, here’s a few shots of my morning moon that I took before hitting the gym for a workout.

Thank you so much for reading! Gratitude, always.

Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost among us!

I also want to thank everyone for their support and wonderful words of encouragement on my previous post. It’s hard to be vulnerable sometimes, but we are human, after all. (Dang it!) lol. πŸ˜† You guys lifted me up, and it’s nice to know I’m not alone. πŸ™
