Hey everybody! Happy Friday and Valentine’s Day if you’re celebrating! (Or up to some shenanigans!) lol 😆

A little rooftop romance 💘

I hope regardless of what the date is on the calendar, you have an amazing day and weekend – and of course I wanted to say I’m extremely grateful for My Valentine, not just today, but everyday.

Someone to eat pizza with 🍕 and workout later, please! 💗

Valentine’s Day is somewhat of a mass market holiday, and I feel while all the cards, candy, and other things are nice – letting someone know you truly care for them day in and day out is really where special love comes from, and that can be for a lover, a friend, husband, wife, child, someone who is going through a hard time that you care for, or even your pet. Those types of love are irreplaceable, not like the flowers that eventually wilt and the candy that’s gone after a bit.

Someone who won’t make you feel bad for that bank heist…ah, hem! 💰 🐈‍⬛

After all the glitz and glam settles…

Look around you, and see who is really in your corner, through thick or thin, day in and day out. Through great times and the hardships.

Only around for a good time, a fun time, a limited time? Give em a miss.

Around when you truly need them? Are they always there to support you, uplift you, and always cheer you on to do your best?

No words needed… 💗

Better keep them in your corner.

  6. You, as always, created quite a mood! Love Kevin’s image of you, too… the softness of it shows a lot of affection and you guys are my taste of that today. lol I did buy myself flowers, though, earlier in the week!

    This is a good moment to thank you for your lively energy, even when dark and/or fierce! I’m not sure I would have gotten anywhere near as involved with WP, and met so many lovely bloggers, if not for the conversations we had in those first daily prompt days that seem so far away now!

      • The prettiest on offer that day were coral and yellow roses. They’re still opening beautifully. I love to set them in front of a mirror so it feels like there are more. 🙂 This morning the light is streaming through the windows, dog is lying on the loveseat and I’m listening to the Price & Prejudice soundtrack while sipping morning coffee and reading. It’s a nice vibe, even if I’m only up because the dog insisted! 🙂

        It’s the best thing I can hope for, if by sharing some of my experiences there’s even a little more validation and ease available.

        Agreed, re the energy. I really think it’s true that Anais Nin quote, that “Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.”

        Those coral and yellow roses sound so beautiful and bright sun shiny. Just what you need at this time ✨ I’m so glad you got a chance to get those 😊 I hear you on the dog insisting! Lol.   32. Happy Valentines Weekend Loveee Laura … Over the moon your purrrfect post! The moon has kept me up and literally with its brightness the last few nights. Magical hours that I wish would last longer (lol). Oh having serious technical issues lately and will “look into it”. Awesome images and you and Kevin are the most exquisite duo!     • Hi Darryl! 😊 thank you! 🙏 and yes, it’s happened to me a lot before, Kevin calls it the “random unsubscribe” 🤦‍♀️ it seems like it just happens out of nowhere sometimes, very frustrating! I’m subscribed to you and all seems well on my end, sorry it did that, who knows why WP doesn’t fix that (very irritating!) glitch 😩 people have been complaining moreso recently about receiving “error” when commenting. So that’s another one 🙄

  43. I’m sorry for being late to the party. Nevertheless I wish many more V-Days not on its nominal date but also throughout the year. My personal tip: going out for a date even with your permanent partner makes the life much more better 😉💘🌹🍀

  45. It’s nice to think about all the people we love on Valentine’s Day. It’s become routine for my husband and I after so many years. Watching Hallmark Movies and eating a few chocolate hearts made it special. Hope you had a great day, Laura!
