“Time’s Questions” Published on LatinosUSA!

Hey everyone! Hope you all are having a fantastic week so far.

So much gratitude!

It is with great honor I’m sharing that my poem, “Time’s Questions” has been published over on LatinosUSA! Many thanks to Juan Ré Crivello of Masticadores for publishing it. I’m super humbled and full of gratitude! Please check out LatinosUSA for all its wonderful literary offerings from many other talented writers.

Time’s Questions” is one of my favorite poems and I originally wrote it for Kevin’s No Theme Thursday, using his beautiful images.

I still have so many questions about the elusive concept of time

Time’s Questions

Is time an illusion, a trick of the mind?

Or a man-made construct, leaving us blind?

Are we really living, or just passing each day?

Are our lives fulfilling, or leading us astray?

Questions to ponder, or simply a phase?

A life worth living, or are the memories a haze?

Do we remember, our loved ones in the end?

Do we cherish and reconcile, with our hearts to mend?

Do you believe time has passed you by?

And what happens upon your final goodbye?

Click here to read the rest of the poem over at LatinosUSA. It would mean so much to me!

I still don’t have any time! 😆

Thank you once again for the warm welcome and recognition of my work. Looking forward to future contributions as well!

As always, you are so deeply appreciated for reading and your wonderful kindness and support. 🙏

May you all have a day filled with happiness and peace! 😊

Staying caffeinated helps, too! ☕️

      • Sorry Laura…for the mix up
But this one is yours. I tend to write it first on a note pad but copy pasted a letter for another friend.
        Hi Laura,

You have a unique voice and a beautiful way of seeing things, and for that reason the words you craft is an art with your soul stamped on it. More power to you.

        Your friend,

        Erwin

      • 🥹 oh 🙏 really?? I’m so appreciative, you have no idea. Sometimes, writing doesn’t come so easily (I blame work!) so it used to really bother me when I couldn’t write something, but I’m learning to be better about letting it go – lol and you’re right, I do like to put out things that are “me” because at the end of the day, no one else can be “us” 💕 feeling so super inspired by your words, immense gratitude 💗

      • I’m starting to lose my romanticisms with time travel to the past at least, as it seems to just going to a moment when one doesn’t yet know what they know. Feeling great need to be grounded in the present moments. ❤

  3. Congratulations on the publication, Laura..

Should you change your mindset, and not worry about time?

Is wasting our existence, the greatest of crimes?

I sometimes ask myself these questions and the guilt I feel.. I often wonder why do I feel guilt about how I spend my days?
I loved this poem. Well done.

  4. Yes, an incredible poem that makes one Makes one stop, while I’m soaking in the tub for my final little bit of along time. I’m keeping those thoughts at Bay and Breathing the timelessness of the moment. Scratching my head yes it’s all true. Lol great job.❤️
