Last Walk of the Year

Hey everyone!

I went a lovely walk the other day, so I figured I’d share my last walk of the year with you.

Looking up to the trees… 🌳

I needed to clear my head before I went to work, it did help.

For all their beautiful wisdom and ancient secrets they can lend

As walks and being in nature so often do.

The music of nature…

Breathing in the fresh air, and it’s nice that it’s been cooler temps here lately.

Pinecones and all their symbolism

Feeling the cool breeze against skin, flowing through my hair.

I can never seem to catch butterflies, ever.

Seeing the animals in their natural habitat.

*busy, busy*

Trying carefully not to disturb them, as to be able to catch a glimpse of their everyday existence.

“Hey! Who’s doing all that walking?”

As they scurry around mischievously…

*dig, dig*

Oops! Perhaps a little too close?

“I’m watchin’ you, lady!”

Ok, Ok, I’ll be on my way, Mr. Squirrel. Sorry for disturbing you! 😆

“That’s more like it! Get a move on!”

The water was a serene view.

Just don’t jump in 😆

Although of course, swimming is never advised. 🐊

Because if you do, you may meet your untimely demise

Otherwise, you might be in for a surprise!

Let’s look back up in the trees…

Perhaps nature really does have all the answers.

As the calm washes over

It’s never set in any one timeline, and it certainly never hurries.

I wonder who lives here?

Best to let all that be.

Things happen in the right time and space, and when they are supposed to.

And now, it’s time for our little walk to end

With the reminder in the coming of the new year of so much gratitude for nature, love, peace, harmony, joy – and for all those elements and people who bring them forth into our lives.

And to be thankful for how much serenity a simple walk can bring.

Words and images, also the last time I’ll be able to use this!

Happy New Year’s Eve! I will be at work tonight, but I wish you all a very safe evening with much happiness and fun!

I have one more post for the end of the year, and then I’ll see you in the next! 🙌

      • So far, it’s been pretty decent, 🤞 it’s just taking me forever to do paperwork cause I’m checked out 🤣 it’s 4:30 now, so only a bit longer to go… phew 😮‍💨

Hope you are sleeping well 😘 ❤️

Now, you’re sleeping and will probably awaken when I turn in. 🤣

    • Thanks so much for asking! Black Moon Lilith is an astrological placement that’s connected to transformation and other “hidden” or “dark” aspects of ourselves. I’ve been wanting to write more about it, maybe I will soon. 😊 the Black Moon we have right now in question is when there is 2 “new moons” (it’s completely dark) in one month (normally there is only one new moon in a month) so it’s a bit of a rare occurrence! ✨ thank you for asking, I could write about the moon forever though so I’ll try to keep it short 🙏 😁

I’m happy that you ended your last walk in nature and shared your experience with us. Hope 2025 brings more joy, abundance, and full-of-life experiences. Happy New Year, Laura.
