Published! (On a Full Moon!)

Hey everyone!

I hope the week is going well for you. There’s a bit of chaos in the air, perhaps due to the full moon?

However!

I’m super excited to announce that my poem “Choices” has been chosen to be published by SpillWords Press.

“In the depths of her mind, a dichotomy reigns
A never-ending tug-of-war between one and the same
Of shadows that creep in, like a thief in the night…”

Some of you may remember reading this poem if you followed me back in June. I wrote it during a particularly heavy time when I wasn’t sure what choice I was going to make regarding my career and whether or not I was going to leave my job at the time (SPOILER – I did!) lol 😆

Oddly enough – I generated this last night

It’s an honor that the lovely people over at SpillWords thought my poetry was good enough to publish – and I am ever grateful.

Also, how appropriate is it that one of my first published poems would be on the date of the full moon?

If the energy feels heavy right now – it is. Lots going on, it’s a good night to stay home and lay low, until the chaos calms down. 🌕

It’s also a partial lunar eclipse!

    I was going to remind you of the Harvest moon and eclipse–but of course, you know about it. No wonder one of my daughters was crabby this morning. She’s feeling overwhelmed.

    • Omg, there’s really something in the air. 🌕 It’s in Pisces, which is my rising sign. 😫 So I’m definitely feeling it! But it’s a strong one. And yes, emotions are very heightened! Good and bad 😆 thank you for thinking of me Mary! 😊 You can email me anytime of course, as always 🙏 and I so do appreciate your kind words about the poem. I don’t think it’s one of my best actually, but it meant a lot to me at the time I wrote it. ❤️

  24. Congrats 👏 👏, wonderful piece. I’ll step out and howl alittle later tonight, I always do on a Full Moon, feel her power on those nights, and yes weirdness has been the air today.
