Published! (On a Full Moon!)

Hey everyone!

I hope the week is going well for you. There’s a bit of chaos in the air, perhaps due to the full moon?

However!

I’m super excited to announce that my poem “Choices” has been chosen to be published by SpillWords Press.

“In the depths of her mind, a dichotomy reigns
A never-ending tug-of-war between one and the same
Of shadows that creep in, like a thief in the night…”

Some of you may remember reading this poem if you followed me back in June. I wrote it during a particularly heavy time when I wasn’t sure what choice I was going to make regarding my career and whether or not I was going to leave my job at the time (SPOILER – I did!) lol 😆

Oddly enough – I generated this last night

It’s an honor that the lovely people over at SpillWords thought my poetry was good enough to publish – and I am ever grateful.

Also, how appropriate is it that one of my first published poems would be on the date of the full moon?

If the energy feels heavy right now – it is. Lots going on, it’s a good night to stay home and lay low, until the chaos calms down. 🌕

It’s also a partial lunar eclipse!

      • Without a doubt, the energy of the full moon in the sign of the Pisces constellation (where the sun was when I was born) combined with the partial eclipse brought a lot of turbulence to the world. I retreated into my contemplation ritual and it was peaceful. Congratulations again! 😇👏🏻✨🌗♓

      • Thank you!! 🙏 ahhh I’m sure it was very impactful for Pisces, ♓️ I am a Libra but my rising sign is Pisces and I definitely felt a lot of turbulence as well! 😬 I agree retreat is the only way to handle it sometimes 😊 hope you’re feeling better now! 🤗 💫 🙏 🌖

      • Wow, you have Pisces rising, you certainly felt this lunar influence too. It’s an energy that takes us far away from reality, typical of Pisces, and it needs to be balanced with something that connects us more with the earth, something that doesn’t let us travel too much into the fantasy world. On the one hand, it’s great for creativity, but balance is important. Have a good start to the week!😇🙌🏻✨🌕
