Tag, You’re It!

Hey everybody, how are ya on this fine Tuesday?

I just got tagged by Kymber Hawke over at Story Spinner for “The Blog Tag.” Thanks, Kymber! 😊 This is fun and I enjoyed your answers to the questions.

Here are mine:

How did you come up with your blog name?

Black Moon Lilith is an astrological placement in our natal chart – I’ll link more about the placement because it’s far too much detail to go into, but it resonated with me at the time because it represents our dark, hidden, taboo, wild and untamed side.

Unfortunately, there are so many people who are “into spirituality” nowadays that I feel they’ve kind of watered down the connection between this elusory placement and self, but that’s a story and a rant for another time.

The tagline below the main title of “Black Moon Lilith” – Musings of a Wandering Soul – is exactly what it sounds (or reads) like. I’m a wandering soul who enjoys musing. 😜

If your blog was a person (fiction or real), who would it be?

Moon photo by yours truly 🌙

A dash of caffeine connoisseur, sky photo aficionado meets a dreamer comic book nerd with a love for nature, moon, and the stars, who is also on a soul journey.

Who that would be, no idea. 😆

A lot of people would also say Lilith, and I suppose that could be very apt as well, depending on your interpretation of her. Catwoman is also appropriate.

What helps you create new content if you feel like you need some inspiration?

Sometimes I don’t have to do anything, it just comes to me. But at the risk of sounding a little too irritatingly mysterious, I’ll tag some of my favorite inspirational people in this post at the end. Also, inspiration can come from anywhere – I may have a passing funny thought, a random dream that inspires a poem, or I may be driving or showering and things pop into my head. I like to share my world and I’m driven often by humor. Also, coffee helps.

And sky photos. Moon photos are great too. Anything to do with nature, really. Can’t forget animals, either.

Is there anyone you would like to collaborate with?

I’ve done a few collaborations here and here, all which I’ve very much enjoyed. The person you collaborate with can certainly make all the difference as well. I’d be open to more collaborations with others but it depends on writing styles, how well we mesh together, and even our schedules since real life and work can get in the way of stuff!

Is there anything more you wish you had or would like to learn as a blogger?

How people make time to do multiple posts in a day. I can maybe manage 1-2 a day, and more only if I’ve written them ahead of time. Some people do way more even with working, and I don’t understand how.

But, I also probably overthink some posts and I always want to make them good. So I try to put a decent amount of time and effort into it. Probably too much. 😵‍💫

Do you have a specific style of blogging?

Go with the flow – with lots of drafts 😆

Not really. I go with the flow, do what feels right. Try to answer some of the daily prompts, but I’m sure most of us know how I (and quite possibly, many others) feel about them. 😆 I’ll post a poem, or nature photos I’ve enjoyed. I don’t have a specific schedule I adhere to – I’d like to, but it’s too rigid for me in a way.

Whew! That was a lot kind of. 😆

Now, finally – Tag, you’re it! Here’s who I choose:

Stephanie – Singing Gecko

Sirius Sea – Beyond Sirius Sea – Ghost Writer in the Sky (I know you haven’t been on much ☹️ come back!)

Kevin – The Beginning at Last

Liz – Taking Each Day Free

Alice – My Writing Journey

Alex – Alexander Writes

Ernie – Dawg Daddy Responds (tagged x2 now!)

Edward – Thoughts on Leadership, History, and More

Can’t wait to read your answers if you decide to participate!

And thanks again to Kymber! 🙏 Your blog always inspires me, and I love reading your writing, your poetry, and learning more about you! Your comments are always so encouraging and supportive as well, which is so greatly appreciated. 😊

I’m a little bit behind on responding to comments and reading posts – I just started not one, but two new jobs today, so please bear with me while I catch up. Thank you! 🙏

  1. Thank you for the lovely shout out, Laura! I love how you chose your name and tagline. And, I think coffee helps everything (especially in IV form!🤣😂).

I’m with you. I don’t know how people do more than a post a day and work and everything else. It’s amazing, the creativity I see in this community.

2 new jobs in one day? I don’t know how you do it! LOL You are amazing! I hope all your ventures are highly successful! 🍁🍂🧡

    • Awww you’re welcome Kymber! Thanks for thinking of me! IV coffee sounds like a great idea! We need it! 😆 ☕️ ☕️

And multiple really good posts too! I guess I’m just not that quick. And it’s amazing how many amazing creative minds we have here, yes I agree with you there 😊

Haha, thank you for the well wishes too. 😊 Luckily the one is a remote job and the other I just needed to stop by for a few hours. Hopefully things don’t collide too much in the coming weeks! 💕 🙏 🐈‍⬛ 🐈

  2. This was pretty awesome. You did the tag justice and gave it your own humor to it as well as added some awesome no glitch photos. 🤦‍♂️👍🏻😁

  3. Awesome! Being a caffeine connoisseur would be nice, but I think the Army messed up my coffee sense. I don’t think I’m ever going to be one after so many years of drinking Army coffee (AKA hot black water). Well, let me see what I can come up with for the challenge.

      • I don’t usually join in tags. Something that I had forgotten to mention on this blog since starting this one. I only stopped doing them years ago as they were getting repetitive or very similar.
This tag I like and, is very different and so I am very happy to join in with this one. As you have mentioned, you get to know more about the person being tagged.

I hope things settle down over time as you get into both of these jobs. 😊

  6. I love this post and your answers! 😎 Fascinating to learn about Black Moon Lilith, and your sky photos are stunning. 😍 It takes me days to craft a post, and I’m in awe of those of you who can get them out there daily, nevermind multiples in a day. Hope all goes well on job front! Caffeine surely helps, yes?

    • Thank you so much Debbie! I’m glad you enjoyed it and I love that sky photo! 😊 🙏 I know I agree it takes a bit of time to craft a decent post, I try to do one daily but even that takes a bit of time! And thank you for the well wishes on the jobs! Means so much 😊 and yes, coffee ☕️ always helps!

  7. I applaud people who post regularly – I’m so sporadic and take many impromptu hiatuses. I also wish I could be more consistent with reading the many blogs I follow (then I manage to find more blogs to follow and just make it even more overwhelming to even attempt).

I love your answer to who your blog would be as a person. I like to think that mine with be a D&Desque bard.
