This is a submission for Kevinβs No Theme Thursday.

Through depths of an unhurried mind
Contemplating thoughts to unwind
Is there more? Or is that all there is?
Questions to ponder, or perhaps dismiss
Allowing and releasing, flowing through
Anxiety fading, feeling brand new
Close your eyes, time passes slowly
Breathing evenly, listening closely
Floating in the stars, now above clouds
No sudden noises, no angsty crowds
Asking yourself, βWhat do I seek?β
Hearing voices of messages to keep
Limiting beliefs fade, a needed blessing
An intuitive knowing, no longer guessing
Tending to the garden of our own mind
Sleep heals through dreams within time
Coming back from unconscious states
Feeling lighter, releasing weight
Ego dissolution, a calm upon the storm
Letting go, detaching – a way to transform

What does your mind tell you between the states of awake and asleep?

π what I need to do. Thanks

Wonderful poem, Laura. I especially like the line, “tending to the garden of our own mind.”

Unfortunately, my mind doesn’t tell me anything in those times, but for those that do hear and see these things, I am sure it is quite compelling.
Beautifully expressed, Laura. A truly divine ride through the ethereal. Outstanding. Thank you πππππ

Perhaps not in those states, but others which come through very much so in your writing π it doesnβt always have to be in between those states, itβs just easier to access at that time, kinda π now Iβm rambling
And thank you, Kevin. π your beautiful image is hard to match up to, sometimes π

If it’s coming to me through there, then I am still clueless to it. Go figure, I know ππ

And yet every week more and more people use them to tell storiesβ¦come onnnnn π do you really think itβs the gorilla that does it?
Then again, donβt answer that. π thereβs some people who are a little tooooo into the gorilla lmao π

Those lines are intriguing and capture a powerful sense of introspection and existential questioning. The mind is not simply observing but actively unraveling its own complexities.
Thank you for your wisdom and for sharing this as well. It’s so beautiful. Well done.

Also, isn’t it neat how certain lines resonate with certain people? For me, the line ‘Breathing evenly, listening closely’ shifted my whole body. I yawned in a great way. β€ Thank you.
