PSA: It’s Mercury Retrograde

Hi everyone, it’s your girl here to remind you that Mercury Retrograde is upon us once again. 😵‍💫

Sorry! Don’t shoot the messenger.

So, if your travel plans go haywire, your communication seems off (double check everything twice), and your electronics are on the fritz, well…there’s a reason for that which is held in the stars and the skies and WHY.

Let the battle to keep our sanity during Mercury Retrograde begin!

It’s time to go into battle!

You may say, “Oh, well I don’t believe in any of that crap!” OK, no probs, just don’t come back to me when you didn’t listen and you buy that brand new TV and you find out it’s a dud. 😆

Triple check your travel plans!

Between August 4th (I’m a little late, give me a break) and August 27th is when Mercury is actually retrograding, but sometimes the effects are felt a few weeks before and a few weeks after.

Communication off? Blame Mercury Retrograde, and does that include AI fails with extra limbs?

It’s a perfect time to relax, rejuvenate, revise, revisit, replenish (not a great time to start a new endeavor, Laura!) but hey, do I ever listen to my own advice?

I don’t want to battle all the planets, just Mercury!

Check your appliances, if I remember correctly, the last Mercury Retrograde my washer took a dump. Oh, what a fun unforeseen expense that was! 🙄

Apparently my washer decided to grow legs, that’s fine…get up and walk away

If you have to start something new, check everything twice, and if you have to sign or agree to anything, try to do it outside of the Mercury Retrograde window.

And for the love of all, please don’t reconnect with that toxic ex. Just. Don’t.

All my electronics going haywire at once 😂

Mercury rules all forms of communication, electronics, Geminis, Virgos, transportation, shipping, the mail, travel, writing in general so it can be a great time to look back and revise an old project (looking at my 60 or so drafts, yikes!) but keep in mind other’s perceptions of you may even come across differently at this time as well.

How it might feel after all is said and done

It’s also not a great time to get any work done on your car if you can help it.

Some things, WE HAVE TO DO, however – and have no choice.

No, don’t hide under your bed for the next several weeks.

That’s reserved only for the new moon and full moon. 😆

      • ☄️🌑It’s a very annoying phase, as if we were walking on eggshells, but even so, we can’t be too careful. At these times, I prefer to leave the scene and stay quiet in my own home. 😮‍💨 Get well soon to all of us! 😉🤙🏻✨

      • I agree, I’m all for laying low a bit during these periods if I can, but then a new opportunity pops up or something always happens and I’m like whyyyy lol 😆 yes, let’s all get better soon 🙌 and in 3 weeks we’ll all emerge from under our beds unscathed, hopefully lol 😂

    • Haha, oh dang! I did have one decent trip a few years back on the tail end of a retrograde, it’s just there’s more of a chance for some shit to go sideways 😆 hopefully not, for his sake!

      And, luckily for you, you’re in the clear. You negotiated your terms BEFORE the retrograde so you’re good to go. 🤪
      Me? I signed that offer letter with no hesitation right in the midst of this crap…cause, as I was saying, there’s some things we just HAVE to do 😆

  6. I am wearing two rings (mother’s orders) one of silver with a tortoise design on it and one of silver with an emerald stone on it. Both these rings supposedly ward off retrogrades and other negativities. Soon I might get one with a yellow sapphire and become the Mandarin.

    • God! Too true, I imagine you feel it pretty profoundly as well since you’re a Gemini. I have a Gemini friend who always lights a candle a few weeks before the retrograde cause she’s been burned so badly by it! Has planets in Virgo too, so I feel for her. Yikes! 😬
      And yes, I can’t wait for it to end lol 😆

  18. I’ve got this app on my phone i thought you might be interested in, from goggle play store, Stellarium mobile – star map. It shows all the constellations or you can switch modes and see what planet’s you are looking at. It’s a pretty cool app.
