Today I walked into the forest alone

I wasn’t too far from my humble home

Grounding I needed, to heal my roots

So barefoot I go, without any boots

Feeling the dirt sift between my toes

Breathing in nature, my eyes are closed

Wandering paths winding on through

Earth’s healing power leaves me feeling anew

Winds wisping softly through my hair

Taking deep breaths of cool, crisp air

Pause for a moment, hearing silence

Listen to the forest, receive guidance

Feelings of serenity, moments fleeting

Connected now to Mother Nature’s healing

“Heal my roots” and grounding often is associated with balancing the root chakra, and walking outside barefoot is one good way to do so.

      • Very true. I had my medium tell me for months to stop looking. That whatever it was would be presented before me. She said just pay attention to everything which also drove me nuts, however lol 😆

        This was sort of a bundle to sort through. Memorable because I could feel the feeling of seeking, and then the feeling of finding, contrasting. Fun!
