now THIS is a fireworks show tailored for me. great photos Laura – thanks for sharing! fireworks were over around 11:15 here but some firecrackers are going off. hopefully I can get to bed before 2AM lol. Mike

hi Laura! yes, i really did enjoy the photos as I don’t really have the ability to go out and see fireworks. plus having to get situated in the crowd is just another headache in and of itself.

Thanks! We had a few amateur attempts, but the rain throughout the day (and forecast into the evening) ended up seeing cancelled or rescheduled professional displays. The amateur stuff rarely crested the tree crowns.
