Into the World of Dreams – Analyzing, Interpretation, Discussion

Hey everyone, happy Wednesday and I hope you all are well.

I recently wrote a post titled In Dreams about how I often experience a great deal of vivid (and sometimes prophetic) dreams, and have for the majority of my life.

Stepping into the world of dreams…

In said post, some very insightful discussion came about from other amazing bloggers, and upon suggestions from some, I’ve decided to put together this post now with the goal that we may be able to discuss more regarding our own dreams, thoughts, interpretations, the impacts that dreaming has had on our life, spiritual insights we’ve received, understanding one can gain as a whole through the dreamscape, and more (whatever you’d like, really!)

I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to Stephanie, Chris, and Michele for encouraging me to write more about dreams. Thank you! 😊

Sometimes you wake up wondering “What did that mean?” And then it’s a riddle…until you finally figure out why it makes sense

Anyone who has these vast dream experiences, knows that dreaming is a world in and of itself – like stepping into another realm, if you will.

And even for people who “don’t dream” or often don’t remember their dreams, I would still like to hear your thoughts as well, whether that relates to the psychological aspect of why we dream (and don’t remember them) or even the spiritual aspect, and if you have other types of spiritual “hits” or “clicks” in life that don’t involve dreams at all.

Quality sleep often produces better dream recall

Dream recall and interpretation is something I’ve always been passionate about. I often believe our dreams stem in many ways from our waking lives, our thoughts and emotions, anxieties and fears, and even how healthy we may be physically or emotionally, the mundane aspects included.

I also believe dreaming has a spiritual component and can even be enhanced or tapped into further depending on how in tune we are with spirit, higher self, or whatever you’d like to call that bit of intuitive guidance.

Dreams can also lend to us a great deal of creativity, whether we are conscious of it or not.

Do you keep a dream journal? Writing it out can help us recall a lot of details at times we wouldn’t have, otherwise

Of course, it may feel a bit strange at first, writing about what you’ve dreamt about and what you think it may mean, or whatever you’d like to share – but hopefully that won’t be a deterrent as we move forward.

I’ll go first. 😆

Last night I dreamt I got a new job. Yesterday, I had an interview and was offered a new job. LOL. Nothing too insightful there, but I do hope it’s a positive omen. Most likely just playing out what I’ve wanted to happen for some time now. 🤞

Just a few days ago, I thought I had woken up, looked at my phone, and saw it was 4:36AM. Then I dozed off for a few minutes, woke up again, and picked up my phone, and looked at the time:

4:36AM.

Huh?

Did I dream about waking up and looking at the time before it actually happened?

I also have running dreams a lot recently. This is funny, because I am the type to run from things, and I often feel weighed down in the dreams, like I can’t run fast enough or my body won’t move the way I want it to. Needing to face a fear, perhaps? I’m not being chased, either …usually. Just running (and I hate running in real life, btw). 🤣

This week also, I’ve had several dreams about having discussions with different people in my life, but I don’t remember what said discussions were about. I have had to induce lucid dreams in the past to speak to others who are not among us anymore or are far away (a story for another time), but I often find if others are coming to me in dreams to speak, it means they often have something they’d like to talk about in the waking, 3D world.

Now if only I could remember what it was. This is a problem for me, little details in dreams that nag away at me. 🙂

I also wrote a post not too long ago about a nightmare I had that I was worried may belong somewhere in the prophetic realm, since it contained some elements I’ve had before regarding illness.

Ignoring the message sometimes leaves us wondering why we didn’t listen to our intuition, oftentimes our subconscious knows much more than we think

I have sometimes ignored these warnings, so in my mundane life I’ve tried to start eating better, listening more to my body, and have been exercising. I also recently asked to decrease some shifts at work, because I was feeling off and I’ve been sleeping a ton. Decreasing any stress from any outside forces, as well.

If I do have prophetic dreams, they usually revolve around accidents, deaths, or illness – so trying to be extra careful this time around.

The physical benefits don’t hurt either. 😉

What about everyone else?

Dreams?

Intuitive hits recently?

Feel free to share whatever you’d like, and thanks so much for your encouragement and participation!

Thank you so much for reading! So what do you think? Should we do this weekly? Or is it a one and done? 😆

Let me know your thoughts!

If you’d like for us to continue – what topics would you like to discuss next time?

You are so appreciated, and I am full of gratitude to be among so many insightful people! 🙏

  1. Some point have to post my dream where I met God. It was in my 20s and I never every aspect of the dream except the conversation until I hit 50 right before I was leaving my toxic marriage.

  2. Beautiful my friend 😀. I have weird dreams too. Many I can’t relate to. I even have dreams of meeting with celebrities that I don’t think I would ever meet because of their wealth status. lol. Anyways nice piece 😍

    • Thank you so very much 😊 yes, I think we all do have strange dreams at times, and even the ones we don’t relate to sometimes may have a meaning, or just our subconscious playing out thoughts, haha. Thanks so much for sharing! 😊
      And so appreciated! 🙏

  3. Wonderful post, Laura, and one of my favorite topics 🙂

I often share my dreams on my blog if they are worth sharing, and I also love to base my stories on them. As for my recent dream, unfortunately, last night I dreamt about a guy I was in love with long ago. We talked about something, but nothing else interesting happened.

I’ve been seeing these “angel numbers” a lot lately, especially when I think about writing, write something, or even try to apply for a reviewer/ghost-writer position. So, maybe that is the direction of my path at the moment.

I also love dream interpretation, and I will, of course, follow and read all your posts regarding dreams 🙂

Thanks for sharing and continue doing it 🙂

Yes, dreams certainly do often lead us to creative insights.
Angel numbers are certainly good indicators of lots of different signs and confirmations! I have been seeing 444 more recently, and always see 333 as well, 222 occasionally. Plus others haha. 😆
And thanks so much for your support, really do appreciate that!

  4. I’m interested in these dreams of yours. We don’t understand them and yet they’re there. I wonder if maybe we only remember the drama that come true rather than all… I rarely have dreams I remember these days

  5. Fascinating and insightful, aren’t they! The recurring dreams are especially telling. Mine involves not being able to find my (always different) classroom after the bell – highly stressful teacher scenario! In my dreams is the only time/place I am running these days. 😂 Thank you for the mention, Laura and for the connection on this interesting topic. More to come, for sure. Your images are so vibrant! 👏🏻

    • Thanks Michele!! So appreciated! And your post on dreams was certainly interesting too! So glad you decided to discuss further as well 😊
Ohhh, dreams where you can’t find something or are searching for something are indeed highly stressful! I hate that lost feeling, I can wake up in a panic sometimes because of it. Why do you think you have this dream? Thanks so much for sharing! 💜

      Liked by 1 person

      • You’re very welcome. Thank you, Laura. Waking up in a panic perfectly describes those dreams. I think those dreams are a combination of stressor elements, including residual classroom memories. Dream symbolism and analysis is interesting, and time well spent. I do my best to write down standout dreams and details.

      • Could absolutely be an everyday life stressor. I find when they are reoccurring maybe they are trying to tell us something as well, but I’m often not 100% sure what? Are you experiencing more stress overall lately? (Of course, only if you feel comfortable sharing!) I need to get better about writing down my dreams! lol 😆

        Liked by 1 person

      • Fortunately, that teacher dream doesn’t happen too often. Sometimes I think it is a reminder of how stressful that situation was, especially the last few years. Fascinating that it is always a different school/administrators, etc. There is certainly more to unpack there! I used to dream frequently about bears chasing me when I was a child. Fortunately, it/they never caught me. Probably would now. 😂 Thank you for the engaging discussion. ✨ You probably already keep a journal or notebook nearby-just jot down what stands out before you get up. If that is possible. Writing details down just after waking helps me remember.

      • Sorry I’m only getting back to you now, Michele! A little bit of a crazy night here at work lol 😆
Thankful you don’t always have that dream either! Oh gosh, I can’t imagine what it would be like to have a dream of a bear chasing you! That definitely would be scary 😆
Yes, I agree on the “same scenario, but different scene” sometimes it’s trying to tell us something, I’ve had these before too. Like a house dream, the house is always different, but there’s something about the house that just feels off, or the like.
I do have many journals, I need to get better about writing down before I wake up! Gonna hopefully get better at that this week. And I’ve most enjoyed the discussion here! 💜 Thank you 🙏

  6. I love your piece about dreams and the implications in our daily lives. The images are outstanding and support the topic. Thank you so much for the mention 🙏

The 4:36 dream could be a classic déjà vu. We think it happened before, so when experiencing something specific, it creates the illusion that we already had the experience. I had similar experiences with the time clock at night.

Your running/chasing dreams are insofar very interesting, as I had them my whole life. Even now. When I was in my 20s I would run from something (I have no clue what), and close door after door, because I knew I couldn’t/wouldn’t face the chaser. These were frightening dreams. Now the dreams have changed, but I still travel through entire cities at night in search of whatever. It’s never revealed to me.

Ultimately I think the running dreams could mean you run away from yourself, from what you truly are, or could be a trauma you can’t face awake so it surfaces at night. Or it means that I still haven’t found my true destiny in life.

I had a very intensive dream a few nights ago: I’m on an island and a huge tsunami approaches. It looks terrifying. Strangely enough I’m totally calm and I almost welcome the waves. I go under, swallowed by water, but as water is my friend, I know everything will be alright.

I break the surface, swim to a shore, and it looks like a haven in a huge city (a bit like NYC), people are happy to see me, as if I’m some kind of survivor. Oh, and did I mention, that I’m not myself anymore, but an Asian boy. Then I travel through the city with a group of people, we have fun and laugh and we’re looking for something unspecified. The dream stops there.

What I’m trying to say is, Laura, yes, a weekly dream topic/post would be very welcome ☺️

Got a tiny bit long here 😉

    • Hahaha!! Ohhh, I love it!! 😆
I almost included a water dream, I had to narrow it down! I’ve had similar to you, where I see the huge swell of water coming and then it crashes over me, but I’m feeling good about it. I recently had one where I felt submerged under water but it felt so peaceful. Still trying to write a poem for that one, actually! Lol 😆

The 4:36 dream felt so real. I could chalk it up to Deja vu but it seemed so lifelike. Interesting you’ve had a similar experience!

And that’s so crazy you’ve also had the running/chasing dreams! These dreams aren’t always scary for me, just that I am running, running.
Could be trauma, you’re right – something that hasn’t been faced yet.
Why do you feel it means you haven’t found your true destiny yet?

Hahaha! Awesome 👏👏 we definitely could do it weekly. Also hoping Stephanie will chime in too when she has a chance.

Do you take melatonin or anything to enhance your dreams? They definitely do sound very vivid!

Sorry, mine was long too! 😆

      • I can’t figure out how to respond to the time question in the right place, so hope you find this. 🙂

This was perfect today because I’m generally off on Wednesdays, but my schedule isn’t totally fixed in a way I can say what would be best. So fly free!

  7. Well, destiny is maybe the wrong word. I think it could mean that there’s something waiting for me, a new challenge. I’m guessing here 🤔

I don’t take Melatonin. Vivid you bet. When I was in cancer treatment I had extreme vivid dreams/nightmares to the point that I forced myself through willpower to wake up no matter what. I could even hear my own heavy breathing from RL in my dream. Not really fun.

I guess you like water like me, that’s why we’re never threatened by water 😉 Cool that you also had water dreams. Go for that water poem. I also had a post about water in mind, but it’s not yet clear what it’s about.

I don’t mind long posts. I guess there’s a lot to discuss if it goes weekly ☺️

    • Possibly some facet or aspect you could incorporate into your life you haven’t yet – that’s how I see it, too!
Interestingly enough! I wrote this post right before I took a nap before work (working graveyard shift tonight! Ugh) 😂 and it helped me to remember some dreams! So I’m happy for that! Gonna write some down and unpack them a bit before I post, lol! 😆

Do you write yours down or keep a dream journal?

Ohhh, that must be very scary, almost like an out of body experience. 😳 I often find during illness my dreams are heightened even more as well, possibly because we have to rest? Not sure.

Yes, I love water! Are you a water sign by any chance? (If you don’t mind sharing, of course!) lol I’m a libra but I have a cancer moon (obsessed with the moon!) and a Pisces rising.

Definitely a lot to discuss about dreams and so happy to do so! 😊

  8. You’ve made my day! Also, I like how many angles you generously approached this from, sparking lots of memories, imaginations and conversations!

The part I’m most inspired to respond to has to do with dream conversations. Like you, I think, I’m sure for myself that these are often more than dream conversations. There’s a difference one can be aware of clearly. These are some kind of hybrid prophetic version, I think, and one has to be open to them, like you mention.

These kinds of dreams have often changed, for lack of a better term, the vibe between myself and someone, usually for the better. However in the case of one person, I became preoccupied with never dreaming about them, and being in dreams looking for them but having the sense they weren’t going to stick around. My dreams protected me from getting too attached.

Only a few times were the conversations with someone deceased, which were ‘right away’ if that makes sense. I may have mentioned these experiences a little before, and I’m not actually sure whether to call them dreams because they are usually edge experiences, like the singing gecko was ultimately.

I’m curious what you make of the idea that everyone in our dreams is also us. If not for the above sensibility, I think I’d relate to that more, because I also have dream versions of my much older self (she’s very cool), or my mother, who I’m actually estranged from. I think of these as insight dreams, showing me that my dream self doesn’t have the insecurities and needs “I” do.

I generally see the inner spark of others in dreams, which is nice.

Last thing, YES regarding health stuff, too. When I need to take care of myself I’ll often be quite weak in dreams and dream about not being able to quite ‘be’, if that makes sense.

I tend to have lots of vehicle dreams. Even some of my flying dreams are in vehicles of some sort. 🙂

    • OK, I finally have a lull at work and can respond the way I want to! 😊
I’m so glad you brought up dreaming conversation! This is something that has always, always fascinated me, and I do believe is a lot, a lot more than just having a regular everyday conversation. I do feel like it’s that person’s soul is in ways seeking you out to speak something they may not want to say in waking life.
Also I do see once you start talking in dreams, the connection is pretty close, or getting closer.
There are definitely people I’ve dreamt about talking to in person and then having a similar conversation come about, so I do feel that “prophetic” can definitely apply here
I get what you mean about the conversations with this crossing over happening more quickly. That’s happened with me too, many dreams in a short amount of time.
With my grandmother, it was interesting because in life she would give me a hard time for cutting off my relationship with my mother, but in one of the early dreams I had about her, she ended up telling me she understood why. So that ended up being really peaceful for me; as it is a relationship I really have struggled with my entire life.
I can get the “everyone is us” aspect, but don’t necessarily believe it. I guess that’s like the concept “everyone is you, pushed out” but I do believe sometimes we are mirroring the thoughts and feelings of us closest to us.
Also, vehicle dreams. Those make me very, very nervous. If I have them, I’m usually speeding down a highway with no way to stop. Those scare the hell out of me LOL !😂

Sorry it took so long to get back! A little crazy here tonight at work! So glad we got to do this, and talking about them actually helped me to remember some from the nap I had before work! Yay! 🙌
Thanks again for your encouragement and support with this, so appreciated! ❤️

      • I’m surprised you’ve had time to reply, and happy to read your response right as I’m winding down. Sorry it’s been a crazy night and hope it mellows. I’m looking forward to have a place to continue these conversations!

That’s such an important dream you had with your grandmother, and I feel just as real as if she were to be able to give you that assurance while ‘here’. So moving. Thank you for sharing that.

It’s interesting that our sensibilities are so similar with regard to these things, since it isn’t something that one can be taught. It’s instinct and intuition, experience observance. Validation’s helpful toward openness, though. Perhaps the ‘everyone is us’ idea is another both/and, but I feel like when it comes to musing with a dream and letting it unpack, it makes things psychological, which is fine if that’s what one’s after. 🙂

I have both the scary vehicle dreams and liberating ones. I went through years of having tangled highway dreams that were incredibly vertical and harrowing!

Trying a new tea tonight, another Valerian. I feel rested and did a qi gong class today, so we’ll see what dreams may come. 🙂

      • Calming down just a bit here at 1am 😂
Hopefully you’re in bed dreaming and that tea is doing a good job! I need to start the valerian up again, I’ve been having melatonin and that’s it. Do you like the valerian out of them all the most?
And yes, thank you – it definitely was an incredibly moving dream and it offered me some closure and peace I never had. Definitely was happy about that.
I do feel like we sync up on a lot of things with dreaming and the like! 😊 so that’s always nice. Absolutely comes with experience, and just being aware of everything I think and unpacking them is helping me gain clearer insight so I’m grateful for that.
Yes, the vehicle dreams are scary. I also forgot to mention the dreams we had with music in them too, those always trip me out in a way, but it’s so cool because it definitely feels like being in tune with other worlds, haha! 😆
Let me know how the tea works, and since I’ve been exercising more I’ve been getting some decent rest, even really deep sleep (when I can!) so that’s exciting lmao 🤣

        Liked by 1 person

      • YES! Music and attunement!! ❤ ❤ ❤ That's how I feel about that, too. Would love to have more music dreams.

Valerian seems to be very helpful, and I had strong dreams last night, but they got away from my capture this morning. Melatonin unfortunately makes me groggy for days. I can take it one day, but then a day or two later I'm asking myself why I don't have any umph. The lady at the tea/herb shop said Valerian helps her dream, but she doesn't like the quality of her dreams on Valerian. My thing is that I'm trying to learn how to deeply rest again, then I think the dreams will be a natural part of that.

Exercise is my weakest component, but maybe the qi gong will help get me moving again, outside of just inconsistently running around at work! It doesn't help that most thing I like to do for fun, like writing and reading, are sitting activities! 🙂

        Liked by 1 person

      • Hmm, I wonder if melatonin is making me groggier than I think it is. I don’t take it everyday cause I feel it loses its effectiveness, but I’ve been super groggy lately. It does seem to aid a bit in dreams. Gonna have to try the valerian again, I did remember it produced some wild stuff 😆
Not a fan of the mugwort? It worked really well for me for awhile but then I think the effect kinda wore off. Maybe another thing I need to do once in awhile.
Yes, dreams do finally come when we’re not so exhausted I feel
Qi gong sounds cool! I do think the movement certainly helps with exercising out that over abundance of mental energy too which can also lead to exhaustion. 😊
I’m in bed now, home from work finally! 😆 let’s see what happens!

        Liked by 1 person

      • Hope it was a good sleep. 🙂

I’m not sure if it’s the strength of the mugwort I bought, which is a tea. It relaxes me, so helped get me to sleep, but it didn’t have any effect on dreaming. I even tried with two tea bags.

It might be the melatonin, honestly. I thought of that when I read you’d been feeling off physically, but for instance my daughter takes it and feels none of what I experience, so don’t want to project.

        Liked by 1 person

      • Hmmm interesting! I’m gonna maybe skip it for a few days and see how I feel. Thanks for the info!
I used to take these mugwort capsules that were super strong but I tried the tea this time and it wasn’t as much.
When I’m off this weekend I’m gonna experiment a bit 😆
Sleep after working overnight is never too great unfortunately lol

        Liked by 1 person

      • Of course your schedule makes it difficult, but we’ll keep musing and trying things! I will try the mugwort capsules next, because I don’t think the tea is enough to give an impression.

        Liked by 1 person

      • Ohh! I have a decent one I like. I’ll see if I can find it for you, I’m gonna order them soon.
Yeah, the tea is kinda weaker than I’d like. Musing and trying out the things is most appreciated!

      • Great! I’ll keep on the lookout. There was a supplement I almost ordered last night that was a mixture including Valerian and Mugwort, but I’m hesitant to push too hard. I’d rather have a practice that builds gently over time than force too much, right?

        Liked by 1 person

      • No, I agree with you there, I’ve done some stupid stuff because “I need to have this experience or this dream RIGHT NOW!!” Never turns out the way I like, lol.
        This is it here:

Organic Mugwort Capsules 450 mg – 90 Capsules – Vegan – By Dream Leaf – Made in USA – Mood, Dreaming, Relaxation, Digestion – Mugwort As Artemisa Annua) https://a.co/d/0ilj1aJf

(Lets see if it comes out this time) lol

It’s pricier than I liked, but out of all the stuff I tried, it seemed the most potent without making me feel weird. I even felt a night I didn’t take it still kinda enhanced things (took it one night, but not the next) I did manage to take the entire bottle which I won’t do if I don’t feel something works lol 😆

Mugwort and valerian does so nice, though ❤️
And the tinctures I’ve tried of mugwort didn’t do as much as I would’ve liked either, so hoping when I order the capsules this time they’re as good

        Liked by 1 person

      • Haha!! Nice! I’m gonna repurchase it actually. I bought the tincture last time thinking it would be more potent (it’s rated higher too) but it wasn’t! So back to the capsules it is!

  9. Some aspect not yet incorporated in my life. Spot on. Thank you 👍

I don’t keep a journal. I did during my cancer treatment. I should start again.

During illness the body and mind are under such stress, that heightened dreams are a common thing. A way to cope with sickness.

I’m an air sign, Gemini, ascendant cancer. My wife knows more, she did Astrology professionally for years.

I’m looking forward to more insightful discussions. Thank you Laura, for initiating this 🙏

That’s cool your wife did astrology professionally! Awesome!
And you are most welcome. 🙏
I’m hoping by discussing them here it can be a “dream journal” in sort of a way, documented at least. I’m terrible at waking up and remembering to write them down lol! 😂
Illness – absolutely that’s true, I had many dreams during my own for the month or so I was sick last year.

Looking forward to it as well! And again, the encouragement to start this out is more than appreciated! 😊

  11. tricky these dreams can be… especially when they keep coming back and you can’t really understand some…on a different level, I do think dreams are often related to our lives and more of a… subconscious given a chance to breathe.
if only we could read them accurately….there’s often a message waiting in them…I feel.

A wonderful and intriguing concept to explore.

  12. Oh wow!
At last! Someone else who has prophetic dreams!

I will bookmark this post and come back to read everyone’s experiences when I have time over the next day or so. And if you like, I will recount some of mine – they are very specific and it could be a LONG post as the dreams then progressed into daytime premonitions …. and as with the dreams, I told my wife / recorded my thoughts on my phone so there was ‘evidence’ in advance of the happening.

I’ve also found so many freaky coincidences surround me in recent years – culminating in the circumstances that led to me being ‘brought back’ after a cardiac arrest last year.

And my latest thing? Randomly checking the time to find (and I swear I’m not ‘trying’ to do this ) that the numbers repeat. (eg) 09:09; 12:12; 22:22 etc.

Maybe it would be best if I prepared a blog piece for my own blog first and then shared it / do a link thing to your blog?

This is all very exciting, having someone else to speak with about prophetic dreams … and like you, always of ‘bad’ things. Like if only I could dream of the winning lottery numbers. 😀

    • Cee Tee, thanks so much for sharing this! 😊
So awesome you also have prophetic dreams! Interesting how many writers and creatives seem to have them. I love the discussion, and of course I understand it could be very long and maybe easier to recount in a post, so of course do what is easiest for you, but I would absolutely love to read it either way! That’s why I opened this up – so all could feel free to discuss! Definitely super interested in hearing about what your experiences have been!
I often do wonder about the “bad” aspects of it – illness, accidents, death, etc – is it spirit’s/subconscious way of warning it’s in the path and on a trajectory no matter what, or is it their way of saying, “hey perhaps you can change this, before it’s too late.”
I often do find illness or some other traumatic aspect heightens the dreams as well, so interesting that’s come up for you too.
I feel you on the repeating numbers lol 😆
I have a bunch following me around, and I don’t “try” either. Sometimes I think it means we’re on the path, the universe is listening, we are in tune, or maybe it’s just coincidence (nah?) lol
Looking forward to hearing more of your story, absolutely!
And yes…if only we could all dream the winning lottery numbers lmao!! 🤣 with our powers combined, maybe? 🤔 lol!

  13. I’ll work on it the next day or so .

I don’t think the dreams are an opportunity for us / me to ‘stop’ something. Twice for instance, I’ve dreamed / had a premonition AS events were unfolding elsewhere in the world, but before they were reported on any news channels (They REALLY freaked me out, I have to say!)

Also, I think if I were to phone the police to say there’;s a bomb going off in XXX in YYY minutes, then I’d have an armed police unit at my door within seconds! 😀 😀

I don’t really give thought to the ‘why’ any more. – I’d never find the answer, so I just embrace it all and accept I’m ‘special.’ 🙂 😀

    • Haha, oh! 🤣 Ok! I gotcha! I feel like the ones I have often are things that happen months in advance sometimes, but seems as you’ve said, they happened all within that very day in some cases! Yes, absolutely I believe it can happen, I have a medium who is mentor if mine who predicted recent earthquakes. It sucks when things are disaster related. You must be very in tune, and I definitely can’t wait to hear more!
That’s true – I do try to always search for an answer, and sometimes there is none. Sometimes it just is.
Thanks again for sharing, so appreciated 🙏

      • One quick final comment for now:

Isn’t it strange how in my own blog post yesterday , I mentioned that dreadful old quote about dreams coming true … And the next morning were talking about prophetic dreams?

        Spook! 😲🤔😂

      • Haha! There you go prophesying (why is that spelled so awkwardly?! lol 😆) again! And yes, it is a bit of a coincidence, but it’s also great your dreams are in fact coming true in that sense! 😊

  14. I do enjoy this post and the discussion on dreams, Laura. I love my dreams and all that comes through with them such as when I dreamed of a rainbow only to open the curtains and see one, seeing family who have passed, and getting straight answers from people in my dreams. I look forward to more of your dream posts. Good luck with that job!

  15. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your post and comments Laura ❤ !!! So insightful and I’m learning along … My dreams usually entail running as well (WHY!!!?) … and lost! Just like life (lol) !!! Oh, please do more of these too … I know you are doing already so much, but I am living for these dreams !!! And the images … tranquil and mesmerizing, I want to design my bedroom the way that picture rests artfully !! 😉

    • Ahhh thank you so much 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed it and hopefully I’ll do something next week as well, so we can all have a good muse over our dreams (and maybe obtain some insights?) lol 😆
And thank you! 🙏 and yes the running seems to be a common theme…we’re all going to have to figure out what each of ours means individually 😂 I really did enjoy making these images! Hope you have a great night and sweet dreams ❤️

  16. My relationships with my dreams is not wonderful, due to my PTSD. The sensory elements, in particular, are unpleasant. Your post reminds me of a recent breakdown of a song about lucid dreaming — a most curious concept. Thank you for the reminder.

    • Oooh I’m so sorry! That’s one time I don’t encourage any kind of dream recall – with any sort of diagnosis of PTSD. Lucid dreaming in itself is quite an interesting experience. Hope it was a good reminder! What was the song, if you remember?

  17. Please do not apologize. I have experienced those dreams since I was 3. As for the song, it was Queensryche – Silent Lucidity. Breakdowns of the song itself are fascinating. The one that I can remember was by The Fair Voice Mother, a vocal coach on YouTube.

  18. You are most welcome. The subtleties in the song production makes me hope against AI, or at least, informs that it has quite some way to to to equal human potential. Speaking of which, the video of the same band performing Take Hold Of The Flame live in Tokyo is completely zombie curing.

  19. Wonderful post. I rarely ever dream, probably because I hardly sleep—maybe 3 hours a night at most. I can’t even remember the last time I had a particularly good or bad dream 🤷🫣🤦🏻‍♂️. Nightmares? If there is such a thing as waking nightmares, I live in one every day. Hahaha.

    • So sorry to hear that 😢 why do you say you live in one everyday? Of course, whatever you feel comfortable sharing. And thank you for your kind words on my post 😊 that is very appreciated. I do hope you get some sleep soon. I know it’s hard to when you’re not feeling well or in pain.

      • Nightmare? Just the struggles of life, the constant pains, and just the trials that continue to hinder me and my family. Not trying to seek pity. Just being real and just making a laugh at the whole dream theme. I think I have more awoken nightmares then sleeping dreams. But those nightmares are often what makes us stronger, so there’s that.

Peace, Love and Ugh, it’s Only Tuesday. 🤣🤣

      • Sorry to hear you are going through so much and i hope it alleviates soon. I understand not wanting to seek pity, i am the same way. Nightmares can make us stronger, but let’s hope we don’t continue to suffer through them 😊 feel better soon, hopefully!
And yes, only Tuesday 😆 Peace to you, too.
