Haha, somehow I think it would be better than WordPress’s…maybe

When the daily prompt has no chill, ranging in questions from spirituality to what the heck is your favorite thing to eat to what emojis do you like to use…come on! I think they like to stir up controversy, sometimes…

And yes, people do find such creative ways to answer. Take a bow, seriously. We ain’t workin with much here at times! Either too broad or too specific.

When I know I’ve hit “subscribe” a zillion and one times and it still shows me as “unsubscribed” …wtf?

Spam posts…even from some real life people. Please, for the love of Gaia, we don’t need 10 different poems or short stories all in the span of 1 hour…

    • Hahaha!! I know, they always send that, and it seems to align sometimes when people are complaining the most about the platform so I’m like nahhh haha 😆
      Yes, I notice there’s quite a few readers of daily prompt still even without the answers haha 🤣
      I try to, but sometimes they’re just too much (or too little! Really!) lol 😆

  11. So funny! Especially that last one. Right? Keep trying to sell me things then feed us a stead stream of mediocrity. But maybe if it didn’t make us roll our eyes and shake our heads, we wouldn’t get fun posts like this. 🙂

  13. There are also “ghost posts”, people disappearing from the reader, once good but now a totally spoiled picture generator…
    Bloggers thinking they are absolutely anonymous so they can write whatever… while their email is seen at least on paid accounts.
    And yeah, there are ones who like or generate their posts via AI excessively – while it is so obvious! The AI style is like the anti-wrinkle filter, which makes you only older and is visible to all.
    Yeah, all these things can be irritating, but they add some kind of charm to this place 🙂 I love it on WP, it is so bewitchingly crazy here 😀 ;D 😀

      The AI stuff is certainly the worst. And there’s so much of it.

        Speaking about AI stuff, it’s probably about saving time or being ashamed of their writing, I don’t know. I personally would change my style for anything.

        When it comes to grammar or punctuation, we can use GoogleDocs, which usually corrects wrong punctuation, spelling, and inconsistent tenses without altering your style or interfering with your choice of words or sentence structures (basically Microsoft Word, but slightly better). The best friend of an inattentive writer, who wants to remain true to his uniqueness. Students are allowed to use it while writing their thesis, so it is really and totally legit.

        I guess people can have trouble with diversifying their vocabulary, and here we also have Thesaurus, which is a dictionary of synonyms.

        But working with that requires time, dedication, and still – lot’s of proofreading, because the text remains yours. Now everyone is lazy, therefore they generate on repeat, but blogging is about writing, not about getting likes and comments.

        Good thing: they come and go…

      • We always change on a personal level. I just wanted to share some knowledge I have as a former philology student on how to mend your grammatical errors and still stay authentic to yourself. I thought maybe it’ll prompt people to write on their own, at least to try to do it. I personally check my grammar and spelling in Google Docs, but all the words, all the texts are mine, written with my own hands and mind – I read a lot in English and they reflect that. And I really dedicate lots of hours to composing them and sometimes it just becomes frustrating, for I sat about 9 hours over my yesterday’s story, whereas someone generates 10 such posts on repeat, and publishes, and publishes… Whatever.

  17. I really like the comic book art style. The whole comment to likes is broken for me. I no longer pay attention to likes because it mostly spammers trying to get link juice. So I’ve disabled mine.

  19. Ah, tellement vrai tout cela et si bien écrit, avec humour, fantaisie et cette belle lucidité qui te va si bien. 😉

    Et puis si WordPress était parfait cela se saurait depuis le temps! Reconnaissons lui au moins le fait qu’il est perfectible, car il l’est…oh, ça oui!
