Talk about coincidence, I just heard “Paint it Black” on the radio, which is a great song, and here pops up your post. Magnificent.
By the way black is the favourite clothes colour of graphic designers, because they deal with so much colour in their profession that they need black clothes to cancel the rest out.
A graphic designer told me that once. Sounds good, but then again I’ve seen a lot of graphic designers in my time not wearing black 🤔
But I still like the story 😊

This tags my addled brain a bit, I keep thinking of Kinsey Millhone in all the ‘alphabet’ Sue Grafton books. For dress up occasions through the series she would throw on the same black dress, a few dabs of makeup, and that was her contribution to fashion. This, along with hair she clipped with cuticle clippers to keep it somewhat managed. I confess, she was my idea of the perfect date. Feed her a Quarter Pounder with cheese and she was ready to pounce. Lol. Was that why I read all A-Y ? Dudes can be so predictable ! 🐺
