Ahhh, perfection! If it doesn’t make sense, it must be worth mentioning, after all. If it never leaves your mind, it is a calling. It’s also 3AM. Tick tock.

It’s a riddle

Wrapped in a mystery

Inside an enigma

Real eyes

Realize

Real lies

I realize that you don’t recognize

Emotions boiling over

Inside a pressure cooker

Stuck and stagnant energy

High

Low

Needing to release

An explosion of stars

An earthquake

Anxious energy

You’ve already done it

And you don’t even realize

Everyone has an editing process

Affected by everything in the world

A few days before and a few days after

When you write it out, it may not make sense at first, but it will eventually.

Winston Churchill originally said “It’s a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma” in an October 1939 radio speech.

Edited to add: Real eyes realize real lies is also not my line, but it’s what fit at the time 😊

  1. Your riddle weaves a tapestry of truths and illusions, challenging the observer to discern the real from the unreal. It’s a reminder that our vision is often clouded by our beliefs and experiences, and only through introspection can we hope to untangle the web of reality. You think outside the box, excellent! 😎

  2. You gathered everything I love in this one: play on words, musical tension, broken rhythm, as if played on violing, and the growing emotional pressure… Enjoyed every bit of it ❤

    • Very much so! Glad you like it, it was what came to me at the time, some of the lines are not mine, but quotes and pieces from others or songs. But absolutely, interpret how you like, that’s the beauty of many different riddles 😊 thank you!
