Eternal Light

Upon my face, your healing light, a chaotic storm rages throughout the night

Fullest beauty among the darkest night

Your secrets glimmer in the glowing light

For days, your energy reigns so high

And then the cycle of waning is nigh

Our minds and hearts belong to you

Embracing the lunacy through and through

Your light is a guide in the darkest hour

And within your phases I find my power

But you play a trick with people’s hearts

Energy heightening from the start

Your love and care has never left me astride

But your influence makes us want to run and hide

Mysterious, bewitching, and forever bright

With your guidance so prevalent in my life

Every night, I’m searching for you in dreams

Your energy flowing like wildfire streams

You rule the world, much more than you know

Forget the Sun, what about darkness’ throes?

Because without you, we can no longer turn

And then the entire world will burn

  2. Wow! Beautiful Laura! I love full moon nights. Walking on the terrace under its gloss its feels so different.

  6. I haven’t been observing the moon as much as I used to. But I have noticed this is since living where I currently live. Where I live it is terraced houses and the back gardens are small. So the houses on the back are really not far from you. It is getting where I feel claustrophobic with it sometimes.
