Sunday Stroll πŸƒ

The fern forest will always be one of my favorite places.

Would you like to join me?

Green spaces – good for the soul

I took a short Sunday stroll today, in an effort to get my head out of the clouds a bit and back down to Earth to ground myself some.

Vibrant and beautiful

I have to go into work tonight, which sucks a bit, but hopefully the 12 hours will fly by, and then I’m off for several days after, so that’s always nice!

Twisted like my mind

I managed to make a little friend, sorta.

He was a tad wary of me 🐿️

I dunno, perhaps I disturbed his peace a bit.

I can relate sometimes, Sir Squirrel, I really can!

Stay back, lady!

It was nice and breezy, definitely not too hot, which I’m thankful for. It rained some, so that always makes it all the more enchanting.

Not sure if you can see it, it kinda looks like a leaf – but it’s a butterfly, they are always impossible to catch in photos…I still try though 😊

It was a good time for me to clear my head and put some things in perspective. Also to just be. No worries about who is around, what’s going on, just taking it in with deep breaths of fresh air and appreciating the music of all creation. Not worried about tomorrow.

Watch your step along the way, but remember if you do trip, you can always get back up

A bit of Sunday self-care is always good, after all. To make our bodies move, to get our steps in, feel the blood flowing.

As we all well know, nature is never in a hurry. The pace is leisurely, often just calling out to us to appreciate and be grateful for the time we have.

All things happen as they are meant to. Cause and effect.

I hope you all have a most wonderful start to the week!

  3. Thank you, Laura ❀ for taking us on your walk; I felt like I was there! Beautiful pictures and so fascinating how the mind seeks patterns and images amongst the leaves and trees, after the rain and nature sprang to life once your presence became known! πŸ™‚

    • The patterns and images and all the sacredness of it is what makes nature so captivating to me. 😊 And thank you as always for your lovely and uplifting, beautiful presence ❀️
