The fern forest will always be one of my favorite places.
Would you like to join me?

I took a short Sunday stroll today, in an effort to get my head out of the clouds a bit and back down to Earth to ground myself some.

I have to go into work tonight, which sucks a bit, but hopefully the 12 hours will fly by, and then Iβm off for several days after, so thatβs always nice!

I managed to make a little friend, sorta.

I dunno, perhaps I disturbed his peace a bit.
I can relate sometimes, Sir Squirrel, I really can!

It was nice and breezy, definitely not too hot, which Iβm thankful for. It rained some, so that always makes it all the more enchanting.

It was a good time for me to clear my head and put some things in perspective. Also to just be. No worries about who is around, whatβs going on, just taking it in with deep breaths of fresh air and appreciating the music of all creation. Not worried about tomorrow.

A bit of Sunday self-care is always good, after all. To make our bodies move, to get our steps in, feel the blood flowing.

As we all well know, nature is never in a hurry. The pace is leisurely, often just calling out to us to appreciate and be grateful for the time we have.

All things happen as they are meant to. Cause and effect.
I hope you all have a most wonderful start to the week!

Photos taken looking up into trees are very fascinating

Thereβs nothing better than losing yourself in nature, clear the palette and come back to the blank page to fill with your wonderful ideas. Beautiful photos too βΊοΈβπ»

Thank you, Laura β€ for taking us on your walk; I felt like I was there! Beautiful pictures and so fascinating how the mind seeks patterns and images amongst the leaves and trees, after the rain and nature sprang to life once your presence became known! π
