Everyone has their scars.
Internal, external.
It is our trauma and hard life experiences we overcome that make us the best version of ourselves.
As hard as that may be to fathom at times.
Sometimes we think it’s best not to feel. To remain numb. That is our comfort zone.
We may often wonder “is this all that there is?”
I’m with you, believe me. On some days, I just want to come home from work, shut everyone out and dive into the deepest, dreamless sleep.

However, there is so much more.
Why is it that spiritual ascension is the goal in this mundane world?
Why would I decide to live a hundred, maybe even a thousand lives, only to come back here to live the same ridiculous existence day in and day out?
Down the rabbit hole, I go.
To lose myself and find my soul.
Accessing an altered state of consciousness, where everything resonates, everything vibrates.

You may often wonder how I manage to keep my head out of the clouds on certain days.
It’s a fine balancing act, staying grounded and all that. 😊
Please be certain, that I often have to give myself a reality check.
“Am I really fucked up, after all?”
And then something reminds me that no, no I’m not. At all. It’s these moments of divine clarity that allow me to keep…moving…forward.
Accessing a higher vibration – although not easy, is often what will plunge us into a greater version of ourselves, leveling up our experiences, and affecting all outside forces around us, coming through daily into our lives.
I have often said that if I could wander through the wilderness, pondering the intricacies of nature, the world and all that lives, I would be a most happy soul.
However, I have been known at times to go off too far into the deep end, too fast.
It is the mysteries of life that captivates me, day in and day out.
*(Throughout much of history, pine cones have often been known as a symbol of enlightenment, eternal life, regeneration, and resurrection.)
As always – thank you for reading the musings of my mind.
You are appreciated.

You are not F***-ed up but someone who actually allows the deeper thoughts to pop up and who is brave to share them. And in that way, you let others know we are not weird or alone. Hugs!

Thank you for that, Mary. 🙏 Luckily, most of them have, it’s just allowing other people to know they aren’t alone sometimes in their thinking 😊

I think we are all F’d up in our own unique ways. It’s just the degrees that vary.
Very insightful post, Laura. 😊🙏

One foot in front of the other. Sometimes that’s all we can do. 😊

There’s a saying: Fools are trapped by karma, but the wise are liberated by it. It came to mind reading your post because scars are like this too. Some people’s scars turn beautiful, almost like artwork etched on their bodies. I have a few ugly scars that stay pretty ugly, but remind me to be thankful.
Anyway, I loved the karma saying for a long while and really juiced the heck out of it until realizing, “Oh no, we’re all both fools and the wise!! 🙂
I like to think that trees are meant to remind us that the deeper we dig, the higher and wider our reach.
I’m fascinated by your explorations and sense of both adventure but also purpose with the world!

Love that saying! Yes, we all have scars, and inside and outside they make us who we are and as a whole I believe that’s beautiful! Thank you for the saying, it makes so much sense. Wasn’t supposed to be anything depressive, moreso that even on days when we have our doubts (and we all do) that life is still a way to dig deeper into the vastness, something bigger than ourselves. We are most definitely the fools and the wise, as I often feel like I’ll never obtain enough knowledge. 😂 Thank you for your always insightful comment! 😊

You really make me think about how our tough experiences help us grow. It’s true that our struggles can lead us to understand ourselves and life better. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts—it’s a good reminder that even when life feels repetitive, there’s more to discover and ways to improve. Thanks for putting it out there.

Thank you so much for your very insightful comment 🙏 I was just about to comment on one of your posts, actually. This is the point I was trying to make I think – it’s good to appreciate all that is in front of us, even if sometimes if things can feel a bit stagnant.

Very thoughtful, wise, and intriguing post all at the same time Laura…You are vibrating well😊! The principle of vibration you refer to is a real interesting one that my Son & I often talk and philosophize about, he is studying to become a theoretical physicist, so we have these long talks on how science & spirituality are both honing in on that same fact, even though the science world often doesn’t want to admit it🤔. Anyway, I could go on for ages, but seems like I would be preaching to the already converted. Great post! Stay blessed & have an awesome day Laura…Jay😊

Thank you, Jay! Always happy to have your comments and I knew you were most enlightened! It is true that sometimes science and spirituality don’t mix, but oh would it be a beautiful thing if they did. 😊 your son sounds like he’s on the right path, for sure! You must have a lot of really interesting conversations. That is awesome! And thank you for letting me know my vibration is in alignment, haha. It’s something I do try to work on. You can always go on, this is the kind of stuff I love discussing! Hoping you have a blessed and awesome day as well, and enjoy the upcoming weekend! 😊
