Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I dislike this question so much that I made a stupid TikTok about it a few years ago (I no longer post on TikTok, for a multitude of reasons- but if I find the video I’ll link it below).
This is honestly one of the most loathed questions anyone could ask me ever, especially whenever they ask it during job interviews.
Bitch, I don’t know. If I was asked this 10 years ago, I wouldn’t have ever been able to give you a proper answer on where my life was headed.
And so on it goes.
No one could ever have their life planned out to the exact T, year by year.
The universe does some funny stuff too- “oh, so you think this? Welp! Nope, I’m gonna show you different, you motherfucker.”
Sorry, I just got off working overnight and I’m a bit exhausted. Yesterday didn’t exactly help either. 😂
I seriously started my journey practicing several years ago, (I’ve always been into spirituality) but I never would’ve imagined I’d be where I am now. I have to remind myself every single day to be mindful. The present is a gift, after all.
No one can predict 10 years from now what they’ll be doing.
It’s a literal void space.
Hopes? Dreams? Sure.
But the path in years time? That could change a zillion times over in the course of a decade.
A couple weeks? A month? Maybe.
And that’s only if we have a really strong connection.

It’s great. I loved Tiktok so much at first, because of just silly videos that didn’t take much editing or polishing but could be spontaneous and fun. Now my feed is ads, just slightly more clever ads than insta.

I always thought that I was alone in hating that question. lol. You are so right, though! Life doesn’t turn out how we plan it. I certainly never planned on being where I am at this point in my life, but here we are…

The longer you live the more certain things go hand in hand. Not hardly dumb it’s this society that stays tripping and will ask you things where you are looking at them sideways cross eyed and crazy
