She walks in dreams…

Engulfed in darkness, dreams surround me

Secrets of the ether, with promises to be free.

Fly to the moon, land among the stars

Here in the void, I’ll heal my scars.

πŸ’«

Shadows washing over, floating in and out

Voices encircling me, calling all about.

Why are you here?” they finally ask

I’m just trying to find my soul,” I answered at last.

🌟

Nothing has changed, the message is the same

Now back you go, from whence you came.”

But I’m not ready!” I demanded, so evidently.

They laugh, “But the answer is not here, most definitely.

πŸŒ–

There’s more work to be done, now seek within

Surrender and release, you must begin.

Divine timing, you can’t change that

One wrong move there, and that will set you back.

🌜

Wild and vivid imagination, waking up with a start

Thoughts are racing, with the pounding of my heart.

Brain swirling amidst fog, dimensions have shifted

Even a million realms away, my mind is still completely twisted.

    • Thank you so much! 😊 That’s a really awesome way to describe it. I definitely kinda wanted to emulate the feeling right before you go to sleep and as you’re waking up.

Also, I didn’t feel like writing about Olympic sports but still wanted to post πŸ˜‚
Hope your weekend is going to be a great one!

      • Here’s hoping! I haven’t written anything for today’s prompt. Not sure I will, but if not it will be the first time skipping since early January. This should matter not at all, but sort of does? haha

      • No I totally feel you on that. I hate skipping. I have a 60 day streak! πŸ™ƒ I think sometimes we feel compelled to write because now we’ve built up this habit of doing it everyday, but sometimes the words just ain’t flowin with some prompts haha πŸ˜‚ at least for me, anyways. January is a long time, so I get it! I’m not sure I’ll be able to answer this one today either, haha

  1. Hey, the way sporadically splash your emotions over the pages, I see some hidden rage, riddling pain, quizzingly beautiful engulfed in your flames.

You are awesome, we’re going to write great things with words, you and I, and some others. More us than them.

Always stay a beautiful literary genius! ✌🏻

    • Thank you so much Alex. ❀️ The way you put it was really beautiful, you really do have a way with words. I definitely was feeling a bit of rage when I wrote this πŸ˜‚
