Late night cat attack!

Question for all you lovely cat owners out there:

No, that’s not Garfield, but he sure does love to eat

Why the heck do they always do this when you need to work on something?!

Gotta love β€˜em though. πŸ₯°

Happy weekend!

  1. He’s so beautiful. I can’t wait to have another cat again someday. I do well remember our cat Amber walking across the keys of my first laptop, being intensely interested in everything going on. He would wake the kids for school in the morning, bright and early meowing and pacing. This was great, except that not every day is a school day!

    • Thank you!! And awww πŸ₯° what a cute kitty, waking the kids up for school, haha. But yeah, they can be a little annoying when they say it’s time to get up! πŸ˜‚ Yeah, my little orange here is super affectionate. Cats are awesome! I know you have that super cute dog, though. 😊

Also, just wanted to say I was having so much trouble with comments last night when I was trying to reply to you, I don’t know why. I had written a big long comment on the one post where you were talking about the Buddhist concepts, but I can’t find it now 😞 ughhh

  2. I grew up with cats (not allowed to have pets where I live now, unfortunately) and apparently, it has something to do with the cat recognising something is taking up your time when you could be spending a bit more time with them. So, they might end up walking across the thing that’s taking your attention or blatantly sitting on it. For example, I had a cat walk across a painting I was working on in an attempt to rub up against me and give me an affectionate head butt. It was mostly dry so no damage, amazingly. However, she ended up with a little bit of paint on a foot when she walked on my paint palette. I had to quickly stop what I was doing to sit her down with some wet paper towels and clean it before she could lick it off. She seemed pleased with herself. She succeeded in getting my attention. I miss that Tabby cat sometimes.

I also noticed you have an orange cat. I don’t know if you’ve ever explored Reddit before but there’s a subreddit about orange cats with the joking belief they only have one braincell. This then explains their weird behaviour compared to other cats.

Also reminds me of this hilarious YouTube animation by “Simon’s cat” about working from home.

    • Cats are definitely awesome creatures. I hope one day you’ll be able to have a cat again!
And πŸ˜‚ thank you for the links regarding the orange cats. I’ve certainly heard before that they are special…mine is, that’s for sure πŸ˜† I’ve had all different types of cats, Siamese, orange, tortie, tuxedo. They really are distinct in their personalities.

And yes, they most certainly do love interrupting you when you have an important task to complete!
