Have you ever played a part in life?
(Because others have programmed or manipulated you to do so?)
A rebel trying to be a pedestrian?
Masquerading?
(In a hollow way of being)
Why?
What do you get out of it?
When you don’t move in the way they would like you to, do you almost feel…shunned…by them?
(Sounds pretty cultish)
Is it due to obligation?
Guilt?
Because that’s what other people expect of you?
Thinking maybe perhaps, you’ll earn something from it?
(All due to your mind and ego…)
…and not because that’s what your heart and soul truly desire?
Why am I asking you so many questions?
Perhaps you should be asking them yourself.
(Before it’s too late.)

There are many relationships and situations which can be deemed only simply as transactional. Selfish, in which one is only looking for what they gain. Not for our highest good, and serving no other purpose than perhaps for appearances or perceived obligations.
Always best to follow your heart/gut.
