What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?

A bit of a strange one here, and one I was debating on not answering. However, most and many probably already know my middle name (and if they don’t, they will soon enough), so it’s not something I really need to conceal.

My middle name is actually a surname. It was weird when I was younger, but I’m glad it was given to me as it’s an important name in my family. It is also the name I chose to write under, among other things. My middle name means “blessed.” And I am, infinite times over.

I was going to keep this short today, and wish all a Happy Friday, but I woke up with an awful headache.

So, I think I will vent this out now:

I hate my new job.

Not the work itself.

Is it an adjustment period still?

No, I don’t think so.

It’s the hours.

“Days? Really? You hate days?”

I don’t. Working 7-3:30 is amazing.

It’s the days I have off (or don’t have) that are killing me.

I guess people on my shift have been asking, begging for 10 hour shifts since before I even got there. (The other 2 shifts are on it, but not days…what?) what idiot wants to come to work 5 days a week instead of 4?

And then with the days off. I’ve been working some weeks with 5 days on, one day off, then another 5 on.

How?

I have off every other weekend, but then the times in between that, is a literal nightmare.

My body has had no time to rest and recuperate.

So, it’s either look for another job, or switch back to nights.

“Everyone complains about that schedule. You are not the only one who’s miserable.”

Ok, so, do something to fix it.

I’m hoping in another 30 days to have some reprieve.

A bad choice? Perhaps. I needed to leave my other job though. How could I have known? I did feel it might’ve been a bad choice going in, simply on gut feeling and intuition alone, but how would I have known for sure unless I tried?

Anyways, that’s all for today. I have plenty of solutions in mind, thankfully.
