Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.

Hah. So, the title of this post has nothing to do with the shoes I’m about to talk about.

I just like the song, and it’s what popped into my head when I read the prompt.

I do love me a good pair of boots though.

Especially hiking boots. Those have taken me interesting places. (they can be so ugly though, haha!)

But! The shoe I want to talk about are the ugliest of them all.

And yet, so comfortable and versatile.

Yes, crocs.

Hahaha. Some people are either nodding their heads vehemently in agreement or turning their nose up in disgust.

Even when I first became a nurse, I thought crocs were so dumb looking and I swore I’d never own a pair or wear them.

However, I was gifted a lovely pair of animal print crocs and haven’t stopped wearing them since.

I’ve collected a few different varieties too. Camo, Tiffany blue, etc.

They go to work with me, obviously.

They’ve gone hiking with me.

They’ve even gone to other countries with me.

And now, I can’t find a more comfortable shoe! Ahhh, dang crocs!

That reminds me, I have to get a new pair.

If it wasn’t for crocs, my favorite shoe would probably be flip flops or barefoot.

I’m a Floridian after all, we’re kinda known for walking around without shoes. 😆 (maybe not so much anymore, lol)
