“Time’s Questions” is one of my favorite poems and I originally wrote it for Kevin’s No Theme Thursday, using his beautiful images.

Time’s Questions

Is time an illusion, a trick of the mind?

Or a man-made construct, leaving us blind?

Are we really living, or just passing each day?

Are our lives fulfilling, or leading us astray?

Questions to ponder, or simply a phase?

A life worth living, or are the memories a haze?

Do we remember, our loved ones in the end?

Do we cherish and reconcile, with our hearts to mend?

Do you believe time has passed you by?

And what happens upon your final goodbye?
