Thank You…

How do you give thanks?

…by saying the words, simple!

Words we don’t often say truly enough or with real meaning behind them.

What does it mean to be truly thankful?

I didn’t ask for wine 🍷 but AI clearly thinks I need it 😆

So much gratitude for the lives we lead each day, the food we consume, the roof we have over our heads, the way we show appreciation for others and are thankful for that moment of peace we hopefully have when we lay our heads down at night (or if you’re like me, in the morning!).

Grateful for the ability to see so much of our vast world 🏔️ and for landscapes like this

For those that have come into our lives for a season, a reason, for a lifetime, or with a purpose. Expected and unexpected.

For what keeps us sane…

Yep, I’ll take a big ole cup of it! ☕️ doesn’t have to be that fancy, but I’ll do iced or hot anytime!

For those jobs we have, which sometimes may not always feel like the greatest, but it’s where we have to spend some of our time to keep on living.

Time spent with family and loved ones

And hopefully, if there’s people out there who are fortunate enough to not have to bear the burden of working, they are thankful for whoever takes care of them.

For the special animal beings in our lives…

How can I not be grateful for that adorable face? 🐈

So many behind the scenes things we never really think about in our day to day that we should be grateful for.

I’ve had some recent car issues, so I’m thankful when I don’t have those.

A vibrant Sky 🌌

I’m so grateful for: When I can just be. And breathe. Writing, even with all its frustrations. Nursing, even though it is a difficult job, it’s kept the lights on for the last decade or so. Loved ones, and the joy they bring.

Messages of our soul.

The serenity of an early morning beach sunrise 🌅

Nature, for the moment of beauty and awe that comes into our hearts when we’re surrounded by such. The moon, and all her chaotic ways. Music for how it speaks and flows through us.

Chaos and beauty

So much more. I could keep going…

Fresh air to breathe. Clean water to drink.

A healthy body, which we so often take for granted, until we are reminded of how important it is.

A sense of calm washing over us as we realize how blessed we truly are.

For the beautiful images. Thank you ❤️

I wish that for you, too. Aside from the hustle and bustle of the holidays, remember to stop and enjoy what it’s really about:

Togetherness.

Gratitude.

Love.

Peace.

And perhaps a few caffeinated delusions and chaos thrown in, but only the good kind. 😉

Enjoy your day, folks.

I’ve been busy making some logos if you haven’t heard yet! Probably will be trying out a few dozen or so 😁 your input is always highly appreciated

And even when you have a moment of lowness – some of which I have experienced the last few weeks – remember, this too shall pass. There is so much to be grateful for.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁 🦃

Don’t forget to take a turkey nap! 😴

  4. I love your reflections on gratitude, it’s a beautiful reminder of the many Blessings we often take for granted. It’s so important to appreciate the little things, and your words really capture that.

I also love the name signage at the end, that’s pretty cool.

We are reminded in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to “give thanks in all circumstances.” Even in the difficult moments, there is always something to be grateful for.

Happy Thanksgiving to you. May your heart continue to find peace and joy.

  7. Happy Thanksgiving to you.(Sorry, I am a little late. 😅)
This post is well-thought-out and a valuable reminder for all of us.
This reminded me of a quote that I recently read.
“No amount of regret changes the past.
No amount of anxiety changes the future.
Any amount of gratitude changes the present.”

I hope everything is going well for you and that you have a great day and weekend ahead,my friend.😊

  9. Such a great post. I often remind myself of the good things, no matter how small. We often take things like health and the ability to move for granted – until they are gone! Everyday should have a time for reflection and gratitude.
