Hello everyone, and Happy Hump Day! 

The sliver of the moon 🌙 was still out

Hope the midweek finds you well.

Amazing how far away it really is…

A bit of sky, rain, sunrise, and clouds this morning.

I decided to make my caffeine work extra hard, and went to hit the beach for a while. 

Some ominous looking rain clouds ⛅️

At first I definitely thought the sunrise was going to be obscured by clouds, which isn’t always so bad.

Ugly shoes are ugly 😆

But a bit of patience paid off 😉 

The water was kinda rough from all the on/off rain we’ve been having (no complaints here!)

The skies were an ever-changing painting…

Which also caught me in the rain.

The rain pouring in the distance as well

But it was a sight I wouldn’t have wanted to miss for anything.

    • Haha, I love your ugly shoes then! 😆 you’re so right…my plantar fasciitis has been acting up the last week or so and these make it so much more bearable…and yes, Amen! 🙏 thank you, so glad you enjoyed, it certainly was a peaceful morning ❤️

    • Thank you so very much! 😊 glad you liked the photos 🙏 Yes, I live relatively close to the ocean but making the time still takes a bit of effort, but it’s so worth it in the end. Definitely enjoy when you do decide to go

  8. I drink three cups of decaf green tea on a daily basis.

    Also…do you listen to BBC World Service on your NPR station since you’re sometimes awake at 3:00 in the morning? If not you should try it sometime.

  12. Great photos Laura, walking in the rain in the sunshine, what kind of peaceful insanity are you enjoying? I miss the beach but hey, don’t miss the humidity that comes with it, a serving of Conch would be tasty too. And those shoes, as long as the feet feel good flaunt them sister! 🙏☕🙏

    • Thanks Ernie! 😊 I took some coffee ☕️ with me to the sunrise, so it was indeed a dose of peaceful insanity with a side of solitude (especially when the rain poured down, nobody on the beach then!!) lol 😂 not a fan of the cold, but hate the humidity, huh? Is it dry where you are at least? I’m not a fan of the humidity either but I gotta make the best of it 🙏 and hey! They may not be the most stylish, but comfort is where it’s at! 😆

      • Yes the humidity is lower here so it is bearable. I’m like the three bears when it comes to finding the right spot to live in, ha ha. And comfort is exactly what is called for, enjoy your daay/night/coffee/crocs 🤣🤣🤣

  17. the sky had emotions going through it like a soap opera and yet it all connected.
    only in the summertime can the weather look and feel right and wrong at the same time and anything can happen based on location and area. you caught the sentiments and vibes
