Romantic entanglement

An ambient rush

Rose petals caress skin

Fragrantly lush

Intensely blushing

Into the night

Embraced by your arms

Upon morning light

Passionate kisses

Deeper against lips

An intoxicating taste

No greater bliss

Slow burn of fine wine

Sipping languidly

Lovers hearts entwine

With lustful sighs

Yours and mine

Never asking why

Lost within desires

Against the test of time

  17. Entanglement line had me thinking about Will Smith and Jada for a minute. Anyways your poetic sensual piece made me think of a love song badly needed now in these chaotic times of unrest.     • Maybe entanglement wasnโ€™t the best first choice, but I wanted to show it was two people coming together romantically ๐Ÿ˜Š and thank you as always for your very kind words and astute observation, I think a romantic and soft poem is often needed much for the chaos surrounding in our daily lives. And yes, there is an artist who inspired me to write this poem ๐Ÿ™ thanks again, always so much appreciated ๐Ÿ˜Š
