Colliding forces of masculine and feminine

A connection deep, powerfully genuine

With superficial nuances left behind

Passionate fire burns whilst intertwined

Intriguing, intoxicating, impossible to extinguish

Never surface level, always distinguished

Unexpected – but welcome, in every way

Moon and sky visions received over the days

Words deeper than the sea, a brilliant mind

Different and enigmatic, one of a kind

Speaking thoughts before said out loud

Mirrored souls, in many ways profound

Enchanting in verses often left unexplained

Neither typical nor ordinary, but raw and untamed

Blood rushing violently throughout our veins

Desire awaits, relieving vast hunger pangs

Head to heart, both elements entwined

Healing of scarred souls, yours and mine

Comfort in solace, which not often exists

A chance meeting, surely not to be missed

Lover’s sensual energy felt, ever captivating

Locking eyes, becoming one, always pulsating

Laughter and inspiration, forever motivation

With visceral need to show deep appreciation

Your wild thunderstorm rages through my soul

Voice with familiar resonance filling my heart whole

Skin upon skin, lips upon lips

Longing for the moment to feel your lingering kiss

  6. This was such a great read! I loved this line:

    “Blood rushing violently throughout our veins”

    It makes so much sense because our heart rate picks up when we’re attracted to someone. Just lovely 😊
