Sunday Morning Rain 🌧️

Happy Sunday!

Clouds opening up 🌧️

A bit of rain here today in the tropical paradise of South Florida (rolling my eyes emphatically!) but hopefully it keeps the heat down a bit.

Caught this beauty in my backyard πŸ’™

I wanted to take a stroll in the fern forest today, but that most likely won’t be happening if the thunder and lightning don’t dissipate (I don’t mind walking in the rain, but I’m not totally crazy!).

A tad dizzy if I stare too long

Little bit of a mundane day planned out here, nothing too wild, which is just how I like it sometimes. Life doesn’t always have to be go, go, go, especially when we’re off.

My grandmother loved blue birds too, thanks for the visit 😊

The dogs will be getting a bath, laundry will done, working on some writing, and enjoying my time to β€œjust be” 😊 and whatever else comes my way today, planned or unplanned.

Raindrops, raindrops 🌸

Take some time to breathe, and enjoy the silence, (or thunder) if you can.

Hope you all are having a lovely day!

  1. In my eyes it IS a tropical paradise! You get to live in a place that others only experience for brief periods of time on a vacation lol β˜€οΈπŸοΈ

    • Haha! Don’t get me wrong, we do have a nice charm and it’s a great place in some ways, I’m sure that’s why so many people move here…but it’s HOT HOT for many months out of the year, I’d like it to be just a tad cooler! (And a few mountains could be nice, too!) lol πŸ˜†

      • Yes, I have been out in nature three times this past week. One of those days I spent the whole day out. But over the weekend I have stayed at home due to a fatigue crash that started Friday afternoon with a migraine. Otherwise I would have been out Saturday if I had been fine.

      • Oooh no sorry to hear about the fatigue and the migraine! I hope you feel better soon. I was hit with some hard fatigue the other day. Still nice you were able to get out on the other days tho 😊

      • Thank you. The migraine disappeared by the same day within a few hours. Sunday I didn’t feel too bad with fatigue. But chose to stay at home to make sure Monday I wouldn’t struggle. 😊

      • I have noticed last couple of months I have a pattern of starting to struggle with fatigue every Thursday. To creeping in more by each day to the weekend, which varies and so depends on what I do or not do by the weekend. But this weekend was one of those do nothing weekend.
I have not had migraines in years. Usually cut grass and overly scented flowers used to kick that off.

      • Sorry Liz! Just caught your comment here. That’s interesting that you notice those patterns of fatigue. I haven’t quite figured that out yet, I suppose I should start paying more attention. Do nothing weekends are the best. Hopefully your week is starting out better with no migraines!

      • That’s alright Laura.

It’s just something I observed thats coming back in. My fatigue levels though are not bad as once was with getting rid of the stressors that caused it badly before. But yeah, it seems to be a bit regular. Whether that is down to how often I have been out in nature in addition to others things I do, I don’t know. But I will keep doing what I want and resting if needed.

I did have a fairly bad headache this morning. Eased a little in the afternoon.

Sometimes doing nothing at weekends is best thing to do. But I do like to be out for a bit and not just stuck inside if I can.

    • Thank you so much! 😊 It was so nice to see him sitting there so peacefully, and then he flew off πŸ˜†
