So, you want to know what I’m afraid of, huh?
Well, there’s so much that can be said and yet I could say absolutely nothing at all.

Instead of being intentionally difficult I will try to answer the prompt 😇 hah.
I guess you could say I used to have a fear of the unknown.
A fear of failure.
A fear of going too deep, too fast.
Those things are probably all still valid in some aspects, but they aren’t as prevalent as they used to be.
I did have an interesting chat this morning and last night though, and since I’ve been feeling quite worn down the last, oh…week, or who knows for how long really, I finally figured out the reason why, with the help of someone else. Not really something to fear though, I suppose. Moreso just steps needed to take to rectify.
I could probably write a million things on the feeling of fear. So many people live their lives fear-based, never stepping out and into their own, never trying, and never putting in the effort at all, with self-doubt swimming all around, just waiting to bite them in the ass.
But then, we’d be here all day. 🙂
So my wish for you, today – is to live a life without fear.
Go out and seize what is for you.
Amen.
Happy Sunday!

I’m going to go jump out of a plane without a parachute now. How’s that for no fear? 🤣
Nicely written, Laura. Even the smallest of things can sometimes cause great fear and apprehension in us.

Like I said, you are fearless, clearly! But please don’t do that 😊 we’d all miss you far too much. But yes, it’s sometimes the odd little things in life that can cause us fear, or even irrational fears. Overcoming them sometimes takes a minute.

Those are often the most nagging ones to be rid of, yes.
Re: jumping without a chute. It’s not the jump, it’s the sudden stop. 😜

Yes, I agree there! The hump could be fun, it’s the sudden stopping that is not ideal at all lmao 😆

There are numerous scriptures in the Bible that address fear and provide comfort and encouragement.
Here are some notable ones:
1. **Isaiah 41:10**: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
2. **Psalm 23:4**: “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
3. **Psalm 27:1**: “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”
4. **2 Timothy 1:7**: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
5. **Joshua 1:9**: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
6. **Philippians 4:6-7**: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
7. **1 John 4:18**: “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
8. **Psalm 56:3**: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
These verses can be helpful for meditation and encouragement when facing fear.

Going too fast too deep is really something to worry about. It should always be slow gradual steps.

Thanks for sharing your perspective, I absolutely agree with you there! For me, it’s always going too fast to get things done or to develop, and a lot of times it ends up in biting me in the ass 😆

Haha! That’s fine.

I don’t think there’s life without some measure of fear. Also, fear means insecurity if you have to factor in risks, etc. So I think this is normal btmut thanks to TV, sm, and some privileged ones, it was made not normal or even weak. Always listen to your heart and the little voice inside.

Agree with you there! And absolutely we should always listen to our hearts. Our voice, our intuition, usually doesn’t steer us wrong.

I feel like whole our lives we are overcoming our fears. Each step, each action, each though is about overcoming the restrictions our psyche created for us. Feeling brave is one of the most amazing feelings ever, but still fear regulates us, teaches us modesty. It is as important as bravery for our self-development.
You wrote you want to still answer the daily prompt, but you made these answers very deep, maybe involuntary, but they give us insights in your spiritual development, in your unending journey where you are the brightest of all stars ❤

This is such a sweet and beautiful comment, thank you ❤️ I’ve definitely have so much more to learn, and I definitely didn’t think my answers were deep at all, maybe even just lightly scratching the surface. But for you to be able to see beyond that is a testament to how insightful and amazing you are. 😊
Thank you! 🙏

Sometimes we involuntarily connect on a deeper level and create deeper meanings, and our questions spark others’ thoughts. Isn’t it wonderful that this happens?

A life without fear would lack adventure, what do you think?
