A house of cards.
But what did it mean?
Of course, I knew what a house of cards was.
But… for what reason? Why?
I had to understand. I had to figure this out now, and she wasn’t telling me the full story.
“I’m going to tell you this – stop seeking.”
What?
“How? How will I get my answer, if I don’t seek it out?”
Seek, and ye shall find? What happened to all that, after all?
“I know you don’t understand right now. But you will. It comes through as things being brought before you.”
Stop asking the specific question.
Don’t ask a specific question.
Over and over again. Especially because you don’t understand the first answer given to you.
That’s right- It took me years to figure this out. And I’m trying to save you from all the trouble.
What the hell is she talking about? You may very well be wondering.
I spent so long asking:
Who..
What…
When….
Where….
WHY…… (how the hell could I forget why, lol)
How…..?!
And in what timeframe? (I guess that goes with when).
I promise you, if you are going inward, and you are listening, following your intuition, you are paying attention, you will find the answer. Guidance comes through in many ways.
It may come to you as a dream, a sign, symbols, letters, numbers, phrases, you may wake up one day and it just comes to you, or something tangible is actually brought right before you that contains your answer.
Things also sometimes unfold in unexpected ways. It is your energy that must be open to it. Open to all possibilities, messages, energies, timeframes, positions, and pathways.
Oh, that’s what she meant, after all. This is just one of the reasons she told me to write things down.
You don’t need psychic gifts or special abilities to get your answer. And besides – everyone can develop those, if they so choose.
You can’t rush divine timing.
Give it up to whatever higher power you believe in.
God.
The universe.
Higher self.
And just be.

Is how I try to write to I want people to feel what I feel or find a parallel in their life where they can feel what I feel.

What a spread! I too get flooded with questions and sparks of inspiration and then years later, it dawns (omg that’s what that meant) lol! I’ve only had my cards read once on my birthday many blue moons ago and still has me God smacked!

Haha, there’s a lot of things going on there! As there often is, hidden and unseen, even. Yes, I have the questions and things pop up daily and then later on it can come through as dawning on me like oooooohhh! Haha 😆
Cards are fun and interesting, especially when they resonate with whatever’s going on internally.

In life, the more we chase things, the more elusive they sometimes become. I recall a line from an episode of Star Trek DS9 that said “The river will provide”.
It was meant in a different context, but the words ring true.

Very insightful! And yes. You can’t chase the answers. I always have this annoying habit of digging a tad bit too deeply and wanting to know all the hidden things. Well, sometimes we aren’t supposed to know everything.

Yes, it took a few years to trust anything anyone was saying, but after you finally find those people, it’s important to hold them close. 🙏 Especially when they aren’t usually wrong. It’s nice to know when others have your best interest at heart, and I do feel blessed in that way. 😊

Great post, I usually rush to find answers to questions and find I have 10 more questions before I’ve found the first answer 😀 It’s hard to be patient, but I know it’s the best way, just not the easiest lol

Thank you Brian – I feel you there, I ask one thing and then it brings forth a ton more questions with even less answers haha. Sometimes we just need to wait for things to play out, but that doesn’t mean it’s not difficult, for sure!

I love the concepts in this post. We all feel we have to force things sometimes, but too much force can break things. Let the river flow! Accept where it leads.
