Starry sky over West Palm Beach tonight

Yes.

Of course.

But…were you expecting anything different?

It’s where I can really be one with the outdoors.

With a bit of clouds…but still beautiful

Listen to the silence.

Or hear the crackling of a bonfire.

Agonize about how my abdominal muscles and core will be completely sore from chopping firewood for said bonfire (a task my cousin used to love to give me, thank you very much) but secretly love it because it’s a fantastic workout.

Only a few more hours to go…then FREEDOM!

Enjoying cooking in the outdoors (away from the bears…hopefully!)

And partake in one of my most loved and favorite pastimes – stargazing. ✨ 🔭

Goodnight!

Just to get lost, without the constraints of time.

  2. Great images Laura…well done👏. If you look at them long enough, especially the second one, that cloud could almost be a fibrous cotton, or cotton wool, and your mind can almost not discern which it is…brilliant! Jay😊

I know what you mean, space is a fascinating arena and we do not look up often enough, especially living in a city with the artificial light drowning everything.       • It really is! I try to make as much time as I can for my lunar and astronomical obsessions lol 😂 but yes you’re right, often it gets drowned out by the busy night life. It’s exhilarating to be out in the complete darkness, and oh so beautiful. Nature definitely reveals all! And thank you so much again! 😊 🙏

  4. You really managed to capture the whole feeling in this post. Or at least the part one is doing all the work of it to get to! These photos are just so deep and endless, and give the feeling that stargazing does, of setting everything in its rightful priority.

  8. The post itself, the photos are enchanting, but the connection with the nature on such wholesome, primeval level is the most priceless thing. Beautifully written 🙂
