Heed the Warnings

Sometimes the signs are all there, right in front of us (not my photo)

I kind of have to pump the brakes on posting daily prompt responses, or perhaps anything of a light-hearted and insightful nature, at least today and maybe for a few days going forward.

Quite literally.

Today, on the way home from work I had an experience that I’d rather not talk about, but still feel compelled to write and show gratitude for the blessings and people in my life.

Oftentimes we can go about our mundane, everyday lives and ignore the warnings we are receiving from outside forces.

If we don’t heed the foresight – what good is it to reach into the veils between worlds – only to not heed the warning properly and plan ahead?

Perhaps no one will know what I’m saying, and I will look like I’m doing some crazy bit of rambling.

That’s fine. I’m used to it.

But we often do have insight into our lives – and we ignore it because well, why? Either we have a gut feeling or someone actually tells us something to be careful or watch out for, and against our better judgment, we feel everything will go along just fine.

And even when we feel we’ve gone out of the way and taken care of the problem – we still sometimes find out things put us on our ass.

This can be as simple as feeling like our health is deteriorating and something is off, our mind has whispers of anxiety creeping in, or just a gut feeling overall that something is amiss, but choosing to ignore it only for it to spiral out of control and into the hands of fate.

I’ve ignored very strong warnings I’ve received before in the past, only to be put out on my ass.

Pressure building up and up, only to reach a precipice.

And then everything explodes.

There are paths we can predict, but only our choices can alter them.

I’m a big believer in expressing gratitude for people in my life that have stuck their neck out for me.

Vanessa – thank you. I don’t know what I would do without you. And even though it’s unfortunate you were right in this case, I am thankful that I am blessed to know someone as gifted as you.

I’m honored to be a part of your soul tribe. In a million years, I could never imagine being as good of a channeler as you.

Next time, I will heed the message much more strongly.

Because next time, I may not be as fortunate.

  3. Be careful on those roads, little lady. Glad you’ve got a friend like Vanessa to nudge your anxiety away.

The roads all over the world are awful, if it’s not potholes, it’s BMW drivers thinking they’re Dom Toretto from The Fast and the Furious. ✌🏻☺️
