Wait for me, I’m comin’ 🥀

Saw Hadestown this past Friday night.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to like it.

I used to be really into plays and drama/acting when I was younger, but thought maybe this musical was going to be way too corny or not to my liking.

I’ve always loved Greek Mythology though, and even though it doesn’t follow the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice to the exact, that’s why myths are popular – they can be altered.

I have to say, I absolutely loved it.

It was tragic, but also thought-provoking and taught some important lessons at the same time.

It reminds us that our lives are full of choices, and free will to alter our paths, our destiny.

But sometimes tricky fate has a way of weaving its way in.

The music was also emotional, moving, and beautiful.

A great performance, incase anyone is ever interested in seeing it or even on the fence – go with an open mind and hopefully you’ll see the beauty in this tragedy.

I know I’ll definitely be going again!
