A “Pluto’s return” in astrology is when the planet (yes I still consider it a planet, so shoot me) returns to the same position in a birth chart where it was when the chart began. With Pluto, this happens only about every 248 YEARS.

The last “Pluto’s return” happened in 1776, the year the United States was founded.

Pluto represents regeneration, transformation, power dynamics, rebirth, hidden truths, death, obsession, and the psyche – also hidden agendas and the shadow self. 

My Pluto is in Scorpio, so I’m already a pretty intense and plutonic person as it is.
